London Visa Office

I received PER on 11/12/2014, and got reply from CIC on 15/12/2014 for previous email which I sent in October 24th that my file has been transferred to London Visa Office. Since then my ecas has one line, "In Process" "we received your application on 25/8/2014".

38 Days since receiving the PER and waiting for the first communication from LVO.

You are still within 'average' time frames. Normally it takes 60 days post PER to get a MR from LVO.

PCC,Medical and RPRF courier received by VO: 13th January 2015
3rd Line update seen in ECAS: 16th January 2015
4th Line update seen in ECAS: 18th January 2015

I applied from the UAE.

I checked day before yesterday and it is not there. I am not sure if it is added today or yesterday.

My visa is valid till 18th July 2015. I am planning to get married, should i get married before landing in Canada or I should do landing first get my PR card and get married after that? Which way is more convenient and time saving? I would appreciate if anyone can tell how long is the processing time in both cases?

I have red a case few months back on this forum where a guy after the issuance of the visa notified VO that he has done marriage and went for his landing after that, the guy was denied entry and sent back by the immigration officer from airport back to his country. I dont know what happened to his case after that. The best time was during the process of your application to get married and include your spouse. Now dont create complications in your case. Land and come back for marriage and apply for your wife or what else seems better to you.

I would say DONT PLAY MAN with your case now.

after a wait of 6 months of medical and RPRF,,I Received an email from LVO to submit last 6 month bank statment. ..i m very shocked as i was waiting for PPR...my friend applied in may 2014 and she got PPR on friday...dont know why he asked for bank statment...Please do pray for me that i can pass through this check successfully.

Hi, Is this the first time they asked for additional documents since your PER email or they have also asked you previously for additional documents ?

In my case they also asked my job offer and contract copy with my current employer + also other documents. I think this is may be just a routine additional documents and they ask this when they need more clarity on something.

So do not worry, if you have a maintained bank statement, just send it.
