My Assessment :- First time, my file was reviewed on 10 April 2014 and was decided to have further review on my experience verification. On 05 June 2014, file status was turned from not started status into In Progress.
Medical, criminality and security :- Not started ( status dated 2013/10/04) But nothing is mentioned by London visa office regarding this, nor anywhere I could find related to possible interview. Only document that would be required is UAE Police clearance certificate.
Six months passed since they have put my application under the status of IN PROGRESS- for further reviewing of my experience points... For how long do they further require to review, as it is already 6 months passed. And surprisingly, there is NO update/remarks after 05 june 2014.

1) GCMS Requested Date 10/30/2014
2) FSW 2013 (5 july 2013)
3) Medical request, yet not received
4) With Initial application, I submitted UAE PCC and Pakistan PCC
5) As of now, they have not asked for single update , or any form or PCC since I submitted my application to CIC on 05 july 2013 and on 3rd October I received PER. After PER, Not even a single update or any form request. complete silence.
6) E-Cas status :- single line.............we received your application for permanent residence on 5th July 2013

Yes B'FD seems to be 04 october 2014 but there is no progress since then. As I have noticed after 5 June 2014 when according to GCMS notes, my status was changed into In progress ( 2014/06/05) I could not see any notes/status on GCMS notes except due date (B'FD) which is 4 Oct 2014.... So basically after June, no status/update on my application (acc to GCMS).

On 11/11/2014- I received email from London visa Office;

Dear Applicant,
Thank you for your message. Your application and supporting documents remain under review. We are unable to advise when this review will be complete, however, please rest assured that we will contact you with further instructions as soon as there are further developments with the processing of your application.
We hope this is of assistance to you.

So no Idea- what is going on; If my application is subjected to further review (as per status notes dated 5 June 2014), it is now more than 5 months & during this time, they have not asked me for any further document, certificate related to experience nor they have contacted after B'FD date which is passed 2 months back..

If i was issued a PR visa from Abu Dhabi... but i want to go Philippines first for vacation before settling in canada....
Can i enter it from Philippines?
or do i need to go back in UAE and enter canada from here?

Ofcourse you can travel to home country or anywhere for which you have the required visa example visit egypt/europe.
There is NO requirement to travel directly to Canada just because you were issued PR in UAE.

Good day to all of you. How many days does it take for a normal post to get delivered from London CHC to Riyadh? My PCC forms for Saudi Arabia were sent on 11 November but I still didnt receive them at all. Then after 3 days I asked them to send on a new postal address and they sent on 14 November, 2014 but still I dint receive it at all. What shall I do? Shall I ask them for a scan or what. I asked them to courier or register post it but they said we only send by normal post. Which postal service do they use for posting these letters? Looking forward for your replies.

Tell them to send you the soft copy by email. Take a color print and get it attested by MOFA. Dont worry, my friends have done this and they got PCC..

Dont wait.. just go to Pakistan embassy and getting a letter from them for PCC, attest from MOFA and go for it.

Or you can write to Canadian Embassy in Riyadh, they can also give you this letter.

I had sent PCC certificate with my application, and i just got an arabic letter from Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, and attested it from MOFA.

it wont take more than 30 minutes to get this letter if you are in Riyadh or Jeddah.

yes if you dont want to take it from Pakistan, call or email to Canadian Embassy and based on your UCI number, they can give you the required letter
