Ofcourse you can travel to home country or anywhere for which you have the required visa example visit egypt/europe.
There is NO requirement to travel directly to Canada just because you were issued PR in UAE.

Thanks Everyone for quick replies especially morning wood and m saaed, you guys are making this process of immigration easier. Keep up the good work..

sending updated forms and fee draft for new born child .......

some where on forum i read that we have to write file number and principal applicant name of back of fee draft

is it true ..... anyone ...

Dear friends,

I need your advice. I have received PER on Nov 21-2014. My visa office is London. I have couple of queries:

1. I have resigned from my current job, and my last working day was Nov 15-2014. For the time being, I'm unemployed till I get another job. When do I need to inform LVO and how?

2. I have submitted my application with non-accompanying wife. My wife is pregnant and we are expecting our first baby in Mar-2015. Now, I have to decided to add my wife and new born as accompanying. However, my wife will only be able to give medicals after delivery. When do I inform LVO and how?

Thanks

Don't scare me. I didn't mention anything at the back of the DD. I hope it won't be a problem, in'shaa'Allah :)

Remember CIC has never mentioned to do this; it's just some extra care that people take 8)

but this i found on CHC london website :::

Fees for Permanent Resident Applications:

The fees for permanent residence application must be paid using a Bank Draft / Bank Cheque in Canadian dollars, made payable to “Receiver General for Canada”. Cash will not be accepted.

Payment by bank draft, bank cheque or postal order to the visa office in London

The bank draft, bank cheque or postal order should be made payable to the: Receiver General for Canada

Write your name and address on the back of the bank draft.

Now this is scary as I had put the whole trust on my VO considering them honest enough not to cheat on my DD ;)

I know nothing can be done except to wait for their reply as I'd sent the email that my documents were received and who received them :)

Allah will Do the best for us, in'shaa'Allah :)

Dear Mabmabs,

Do you have any idea if your employer got a phone call or officer visit to verify your experience ?

Regards,

I checked with my previous employer, they have not received any verification call/visit from visa office.
