London Visa Office

Got MR for newborn and PPR-1.

Hey Guys.

I am NOC 2173 from Pakistan, 23rd july applicant. I wrote Islamabad as my VO office though now i get to know that London is the VO for Pakistani applicants, So, cause of this wrong VO, can CIC reject my application?
is there any case of rejection cause of this reason?

Hey brother

just relax .... I had written Abu Dhabi as my Visa office, as I am resident of Saudi Arabia. but originally from Pakistan, later I discovered that for Saudi Arabia FSW applications the Visa office is also London.
I am May 28th applicant and I already have PER, so this is a minor mistake.. it will automatically get directed to LVO.

Hi, how long to wait after PER for the next step (Ecas 2nd line or MR). After how many days should I query/write to CIC or VO ?
I got PER on Sep-23. till now no further update. :(

Don't worry brother. It is not about NDVO or LVO. It is more about luck. It seems none of the VOs are following FIFO accurately.

If you see FSW2014 spreadsheet, you will see 232 NDVO applicants got MR, but none of them received PPR yet.
On the other hand, 33 LVO applicants (early May applicants) received MR, 4 applicants received PPR and another 4 applicants have already got their visas issued. So it looks like LVO is a bit more streamlined.

So if you think in that way, LVO is better these days. What's the use of getting MR early if the next step (PPR) is very much delayed?

You should wait 4 to 6 months before sending any query

I want to know about NICOP for permanent immigrants.
Is that mandatory to have a NICOP before you fly to Canada as permanent resident ?

And is NICOP also mandatory for kids ?

It seems LVO is treating every application differently. I got MR as well email asking to sned Updated chart and RPRF. And sent cc reciept, updated chart with pp copies (as had renewed) and reciept of RPRF through DHL. Till date only 3rd line added "Medicals recieved" but no info about CC reciept & Updated chart acknowledgment (although DHL tracking confirmed).
Is it normal?

Dear, although it seems as things are on faster track, but still reviewing your timelines, i would suggest have patience and wait. At least you are IN & VOs are tryig to clear backlog. Hence, i think may not be that long like we had almost 12 months. Good luck

While asking me for MR, RPRF & Updated chart LVO mentioned "although you have 60 days but we would appreciate if you may send within 30 days" and i did at the earliest possible, but things again at same tortle speed.

If you are in Pakistan, normally they ask for PP copies to London and later at PPR2 they ask to send original PP to ISB CHC. You have a bit different.
