In my case I didn't wait for the 2nd line to update on Ecas. I re-filled the generic application form with updates and forwarded it to London Visa office through "case specific enquiry CIC London" form. Search google for "case specific enquiry cic London". You can attach multiple files with your enquiry. In the enquiry field summarize your updates. You should attach you generic application form and new passport biometric page. I got the response within two days.

I've been sailing through this forum for a couple of days and found it very helpful. This is my first post on the forum. My application was received on 2014-6-6 and I got PER on 2014-10-1. I've a few updates about my case;

*-* I'm blessed with a baby boy this August. I've got his BC and PP made.
*-* My PP was going to expire in Jan 2015, so I've got my PP renewed.

When should I send the CSE mentioning my updates, now or after the 2nd line update on ECAS? I've found some persons on the forum who got replies of their CSEs that their applications were still waiting to be reviewed by an officer and no action was required by them.

*-* Thirdly I'd made a mistake as I didn't mention my step brother and step sister in the Additional Family Information form. Now one of my friends is saying that it may come under "hiding of an information/misrepresentation". So he has the opinion that I should immediately inform LVO about it that I missed to write their names and should upload the FRC along.

I would really appreciate the opinions of seniors with thanks in anticipation.

I want to know about NICOP for permanent immigrants.
Is that mandatory to have a NICOP before you fly to Canada as permanent resident ?

And is NICOP also mandatory for kids ?

No, it is not manadatory, you can apply for NICOP in Pakistan embassy in canada..

LVO has asked me to send passport to london along with updated information chart.
I will be just simply sending via DHL along with return reciept inside the envelop.
Is there any addition action to be done by me?

Read their instructions again dear you can not send your passports outside pakistan. either they ask for scanned copies or they will ask you to submit passports to Islamabad high commission if you are in pakistan

If you are outside Pakistan, then it is fine, but if you are in Pakistan it is illegal to send passport out of country and canadian embassy knows about it, they can not ask anyone to send their passport out of country. If they have sent this instruction, immediately send them e-mail & explain them that you are in pakistan, then will re-send passport submission instructions...

well in my opinion u should immediately send cse to update lvo abt ur son and pp renewed. I don't think u should wait any longer.
regarding the form, just prepare a new additional family information form for urself and send it with a cover letter mentioning the reason to update...

all 3 updates should be sent immediately....

Thanks a lot Maria_Sal. I'll update LVO now. Plz guide me whether I should send Additional Family Information form through email or courier. For courier I've the address from Canada Office UK link.
Hope it's okay and from December 16 they're changing it.
What is the email ID to be used for LVO as they've not yet notified me of anything like this.

You should wait 4 to 6 months before sending any query

Mate I submitted my FSW application on the 14th of August 2014 and When i track the mail, it says it has been delivered to Sydney, Nova Scotia Canada. But I have not received any reply from them yet. I sent an email to the email address provided a month ago, just to check the status, but they have not replied as yet.


Could you advise, what shall I do to chase it up?

Finally the wait is over. I just received our passports with visa and copr.

Thanks Usher. In my case do u think only the updated Generic Application Form will suffice?

It seems LVO is treating every application differently. I got MR as well email asking to sned Updated chart and RPRF. And sent cc reciept, updated chart with pp copies (as had renewed) and reciept of RPRF through DHL. Till date only 3rd line added "Medicals recieved" but no info about CC reciept & Updated chart acknowledgment (although DHL tracking confirmed).
Is it normal?

That's very normal bro.
They usually don't acknowledge receiving updated forms and RPRF.
Since you have got 3rd line in ECAS, just wait few more days and you will get PPR2 at once.
