My younger sister is leaving on evening of October 04,2014 from Lahore to Toronto.
Under all circumstances I cannot come after 2nd , as I am supposed to be with her , winding and closing her home and helping her in many other 11th hour closing issues - Please excuse me.

This is the second time there is proposal for change of date , for the reasons , that will be good enough.

All visas and COPR are printed in LVO for applicants of that office , and then mailed to respective visa offices for pasting and delivering.

This might be the issues for delays

May b this news is true and thats why all members who have submitted their passport are in waiting line. I hope that soon we all get our passports with copr.

Looks true, as in Aug the CSE software was also not working.....seems that their system is up now, yet backlog (visa and COPR printing) has accumulated at LVO....causing delay.

Is this confirmed that all Visas and COPRs are printed at LVO and then they email to the local visa office? If this is confirmed and authentic news then the Local VO is not at fault and they are just waiting for these from LVO....and with so long wait of 3 to 5 weeks, it seems that LVO is having some glitch in their visa/copr printing system....

But at the same time it is more strange that they are not able to fix this issue since last 5 weeks :-X :-\

I also knew that copr and visas printed by lvo and then they sent to local visa office bcz our applications processed by lvo.

From your own experience, can you predict when can i expect the second line to be added to my ECAS, i received PER on 5 Sep 2014 and my visa office is London, also when can i expect MR?

Hi,

First of all, heartiest congrats to everyone who have received positive updates. Regarding my case, I have finally received my passports with visa stamps along with two copies of COPR each for myself and my wife (one having pic and the other without pic - they returned the 2nd pic).
There is one big decision I need to make for which I need valuable input from you guys. I have just got a tempting job offer from one of the largest companies based in Saudi Arabia. This job is 'once-in-a- lifetime' opportunity. What are my options? Definitely, I would not trade-in PR with this job. What are the landing requirements? Can I make a short trip to Canada or do I need to stay there for some time? Can I, in anyway, avail both these opportunities together?
