Hmm I see that you are waiting for file transfer for almost one year. Why is that?

my file is with LVO.

Dear Forumites,

I am kind of confused here please, there are some of us that did their Medicals in January and as we speak they are yet to get PPR, does it mean that when the PPR and eventually the visa comes, the expiring date of the Visa will be in Jan 2015? Will LVO extend it beyond that for time wasted? Are they going to keep to their rule of 1 yr from date of medical regardless of the short preparatory period?

Sorry when it was transferred because your timeline doesn't mention it? Any idea of processing time in months? Thanks for info.

official processing time as promised is one year. my file reached to CIC 3rd july got PER on 24th sep and heard from LVO in jan, 2014 requesting updated forms. now waiting for next steps

Hi mbaka....senior members here have confirmed and current activity of lvo depicts tht certainly rule will be the same and we will get only time upto december 2014 to land...(talking abt jan MR applicants)
since ur MR came in march..u will have time to land upto approx. feb 2015 provided tht all ur passports at visa stamping stage have a validity upto this time....

Thank you Maria...

But its quite difficult to plan without at least getting a request for PPR. My 1st son passport expires Jan 25, 2015. I am wonderin if i should renew to accomodate february or i should just forget about it and plan with passport date.. i really thought we can make it this summer but it seems all hope is kind of lost.. landing during winter is not funny at all especially for those coming from a warm climate... :P

oh u r also under VCM and same VO like us probably then...have u raised any CSE yet??? news is tht next month we will b having some response inshaAllah...
i know to travel in winter is certainly not a good idea n im also tensed ??? ..jan 25 seems to be ok since u would only get a month more after renewing ur son's passport...all of us need to move by sep-oct maximum before the weather becomes extremely horrible.....if v could not make it then we will directly njoy the harsh winter n christmas leaves :P
