pardon my ignorance, but what is this PPR1, PPR2. PPR3 ?? How many pasports do we send?
Is this just with LVO.. I havent heard about these prequels and sequels in other VOs!

By the grace of Almighty ALLAH and after 310 days, 10.25 months of application time. I just received my passports with PR stamp and COPR. Thanks you all for your valuable input. I wish you all luck and pray for your success. Fortunately my GCMS is due on coming Monday, will be interesting to see what is mention on it. If something helpful for the forum then I will share with all.

Have you got ur gcms notes, if so pls share the details.

Renewal of Passport
Under Passport & Visa Manual 2006, there is no restriction for renewal of passport before its expiry. Passport having full validity of 5/10 years can be issued to the applicants even if existing passport has not completed its validity. However, a statement mentioning the reason for obtaining a new passport before its expiry may be obtained from the applicant. The existing passport may be cancelled and returned to the applicant. All other formalities may also be completed in the case.

I think I should renew it, hmmm

When we renew the passport our last passport number gets changed. I initially wrote the no on the generic form and then later, I renewed the passport after 8 months , and realised that the last number is changed. Anyway, I submitted the photocopies through courier, so that LVO update my records.

What I have noticed recently about CSE, when LVO receives our CSE and they see that they have any kind of update in queue for us in the next 2 ~ 4 weeks, they are not replying us, instead applicants are getting PPR1 or any other kind of update that was pipelined. They are replying to those for which they haven't have any update in queue for the next 1 month.
