Hello All

Congratulations to all those who received medical after interviews. I was busy with some other tasks so forgot to update that I've also received medical and RPRF request on Monday, 14 April.

I've following question regarding RPRF:

I'm not sure about how to pay my RPRF. On cic website they have mentioned that either we can pay via Bank Draft or we can also pay using the credit card.

There was no instruction about where to send the bank draft of credit card details in email also. Do we have to fill some form and then have to sent it?? Mostly I want to pay using the credit card like I did for visa fees.

Please help me with this doubt. I apologize if same question was already asked.

By Draft in CAD.

As others have said, it looks like you'll need to get a CAD draft.
I think that like me you're in the UK, so you'll need to approach a bank for this. They only get foreign draft's for existing customers, and I am with HSBC and Nationwide. I tried HSBC first and got no joy there, but fortunately Nationwide said they could do it for me. From my conversations in the HSBC it looks like Barclays would be a quick bank to choose if you have an account there.
If your bank(s) can't do it then you'll need to give someone like Travelex a call to see if they can order you one.

They are 2 different things bro. We all have that desire to enter Canada and for that reason, we have made our applications and waiting patiently even with the delay from LVO. U can get busy with other things but that is not to say the desire to enter Canada should die. U cannot wait patiently and at the same time allow that desire to die. In fact, that desire to enter Canada makes u wait patiently until u hear from LVO. And if that desire is dead?

Dear Hila01

It was not intended to hurt any one.
Anyhow I regret heart burns

Stay Blessed

Thank you very much loncan and others for quick response. Yes, I'm in UK and have barclays account. So will try to get it done via them. Do I've to say them anything specific apart from the draft should be for Receiver General of Canada and amount of money? And I think I just have to request single draft for me and my wife. Right?

And how do we have to send it to LVO?? by post only? or can submit in person?

Do we have to fill any other form and submit along with draft?

Correct, you're asking for one Canadian Dollar Draft for 980 Canadian dollars, made payable to Receiver General for Canada. They will then get it issued from a Canadian clearing bank (RBS, CIBC etc) and send it to you (or you will collect it).

Good question! I'm going to send mine by registered post (i.e. with signature), but I suspect you probably could drop it off to the security people on the door.
As stevebbs says, you are expected to write your name and address on the back of the draft. I would suggest including an accompanying note to reference your UCI, full name and that you are enclosing the landing fee (RPRF) as requested.

Are we going to get some more MRs this week or not? Easter is approaching and it's going to be a long weekend ... :(

Sir

In July or Aug 2014 .
This is based upon my observations , as I have noticed from the date of submission of Updated Documents or allied with Medicals , normally visa offices takes 07 to 08 months to issue visa

Stay Blessed

Submission of updated documents --- Which documents?

1... The documents which are being asked by LVO (like updated forms, updated PCCs some other documents etc)

OR

2...The documents that we sent by ourselves without being asked by LVO like many people send updated New Job letters, PCCs and Passport copies etc....
