All LVO MR buddies,

I suggest you all to request CIC for in-person CIIP session in your respective countries. Once they will receive reasonable number of requests, they will certainly plan in-person CIIP session. I also suggest you to wait until you are pretty sure or receive written confirmation from CIC that in-person session is not possible, then you can go for online CIIP session.

This is just a suggestion; rest is your decision.

Very good initiative by Abu Hassan. We all should register and ask them for on site session rather than for online it's informative.

More requests will influence them to come and have the local session in UAE.

Ensure you select none of the above for default location options given to attend this session, then you will be shown a dropdown to indicate your preferred location...

No one knows here the pattern they are following for FSW2K13 applicants for dm n stamping. You are the first one on this forum to reach at this stage.
Just FYI in NDVO with same time ones takes 60-80 days for dm 15 days for pps to return back, tough LVO is different then NDVO.

I got following reply from LVO for my CSE that "We are waiting for some checks to be completed"... Are these the BG Security checks? Right?

Don't be confused. U can choose to write on the back of your draft with pen or pencil. I don't see any issues here. In fact, pencil can easily be erased.The important aspect is not to forget to write ur details. My initial application fee to CIO was DD and I wrote my name with pen.

Print this with your Computer Printer , and put "Transparent Tape" over that writing
No issues , I have done this when I paid in 2009 to CIC , and we do this in routine while paying to our vendors in Pakistan and UAE

I am planning to issue the DD tomorrow for "Receiver General for Canada". and "Write your name and address on the back of the bank draft." as instructed on the website.

After that shall I mail it to LVO? do I need to make cover letter or something like that?
