Hi guys,
So I finally had my interview in London yesterday , as they never replied to my request of changing the interview office.
The officer was very kind and the interview was hold in a private office. He requested the updated forms and then, he started to ask for all original documents.
When we got to the job reference letters he ask me about what I had to do in each jobs but when we were talking about the posicion related to the NOC, he asked me lots of questions, very puntual question and he even had the job description from the NOC open on his computer so every time I replied he checked the PC and asked me more questions.
After that, he asked for the police certificates and the he told me we was satisfied with all the information, that I meet the criteria and the minimun points and that he was going to send me in a couple of weeks medical request, the next payment and, probably, a request for updated police certificate from uk.
So, very good news for me......and all of you....
He also said I could ask any question I wanted as we dont have the opportunity to be face to face with an immigration officer frequently and this is the information I got.....
He didnt say why I was called, he said it could have been due to ramdom checks or because they wanted to verify something.
He said there are 20 officers working of the applications but they have such a big backlog that they have been working hard in that and are trying to finish all those applications this year. Also, he said their aim is to finish each 2013 application within 1 year from the application date (not the PER date) as they will start the new programe next year.
I think this is more or less how the interview was. I hope it helps.
My only recommendation is to be well prepared to support your experience.

Good luck to you.
Regards,
Claudia

Congrats Mate :)

good evening guys,

the documents (like bank draft and updated forms) recently requested by LVO has reached their office yesterday, and was received by a certain Mr Hussein...for those who sent similar documents at LVO, may I know who received yours? just to make sure,....

And then for our medicals, the clinic said that the result shall be transmitted to LVO within 5 to 10 days...and if ever there are problems, they will let us know for additional test or exam....which means that the result that will reach LVO are only those that are okay..

thanks,

Well done Claudia, great update and full of info!!!

;D :D ;) ;D :D ;)

I'm delighted to report a positive interview experience. :)

The officer was helpful and good at taking away nerves, which made things quite straightforward.

I was given the same 2 weeks to medical, 2 months to finish kind of timeline as others have reported.

Hi Guys,

I went for interview in London yesterday,
Start was ok, then the officer started asking me about my previous experience in a different category 2174 to be precise,

Then at the end he said he is not satisfied that I have performed all the duties listed and may have asked my organisation to type a letter like that.
To which I responded I did. He was satisfied that I have performed some of the duties though. Basically the whole interview was based on 2174.
he said the category in which u have applied that is 2174 " Im not satisfied that u have performed all of the duties and hence I am rejecting you but will review and let u know in 2-3 weeks".

I clarified to him, that I have applied in 2147 and thats my primary occupation and hence should be considered on that, to which he replied there must be some confusion. He didnt even ask me about 2147 for which I had applied.
Then he said, even though its 2147 based on the interview, i am rejecting you at the moment but will review and let u know in 2-3 weeks time.
before the start he had checked my education and made me sign the background deceleration.

He was adamant that he will reject me. Before the start he had asked me about all the work I had done in brief and was satisfied. and then he started drilling me on 2174.
An immigration officer accepting his fault that there is confusion and why should there be any confusion thats what I am thinking. I guess he never even had read my application properly.

Hope for the best,
