LVO dont do verifications this way..... so nothing to worry about.... they Google your name.... check LinkedIn and some other online web sites....

in my case they did not verify my particulars... but they verify details of my line manager from different channels...

also you have already doen with your medicals.... that means your eligibility is already cleared..... after that no chance to verify any thing.....

after medicals BG are related to security instead of documents or experience checks....

Hi luqi...we r still in doubt whether it was verification call. hence, i did not post details here.
a guy called reception asking my husband's full name n designation (Project manager).receptionist was busy so she immediately transferred to my hubby. the guy then abruptly mentioned the place he was calling from but did not repeat when asked again. he confirmed official email address with my hubby without asking who he is speaking to and hanged up. doubts which force us to think its a verification call are:
- no one knows (or atleast calls) my husband's full name in the company (its little long)
- no email came from any unknown id after tht
-my husband is not only project manager in the company..i mean ppl know him as project manager, procurement manager, office manager, assistant GM..(company is small). he never uses any specific desgination in his signature.
- he did not repeat the email id (its tough to get email id in first time)

anyhow this can still be our doubt..
call came last week. caller number was not noted.

Call could be from any bank (CC or loan dept) in UAE this is very common, if some one has given your business card or mentioned your name on form for reference.

Hi nkalra & MM2....I agree with u ppl....

Hello LVO applicants, I saw this extract and thought I should share with you guys. This further confirms the comments from VO in Abu Dharbi to process applications within 1 year.

Note: Applications are date stamped upon receipt at the CIO and then checked for completeness
in order by date of receipt. The “application received” date at the CIO is the lock-in date.
Processing offices should therefore maintain the application received date from the time of the
applicant's initial submission to the CIO, and process the application to conclusion.

Gents,

Can anyone give me an idea how long the Back Ground and Security Check takes ?

I am from Pakistan..

For both the checks it varies from applicant to applicant, each file and case has it's own complexity n different in nature.

On an average for Security checks it can take from 2-6 months :( just an estimate based on previous year applicants.
For BG normally it won't take too long probably some days to 1 month or so.

With the latest (2013) applicants trend after MR within 60-80 days Visa stamping is getting done. NDVO is asking for PPR with medicals n RPRF where as LVO will ask for PPR once security checks are done.

All the best.

Dear all , can anybody provide me to link to send CSE to LVO ? thanks
