Folks,

My GCMS stated the Application assignment due date on my file as 28 February 2014, considering my current situation (ECAS status update " we started processing your file on the 12 March 2014) , the situation falls align with the assigned due date.

At last looks like LVO are following what they are stating........................Thought of informing you guys, this information may calm your nerves a bit.

If the information is helpful its good, if not then just ignore it.

thanks farhan..actually recently someone called in my hubby's company to confirm his official email address and he took his full name...
although he is commonly called by his first 2 names only in workplace...so we were doubting its a bg check..

62 days to MR already achieved...lets hope for the best now

Can you elaborate more about "someone".... I mean did you find out who called to ask about your husband's email? what was the phone number of the dialing person? did they call reception/hr/manager? any details? any name of the calling person?? what is the date they called in? etc etc

Yup, this is good to know, they started Processing your file as per your file assignment date, & you soon got your e-case status updated.

My timeline is more or less similar to yours, but NOC is different, & I did not order GCMS notes, I know they might are not process files according to timeline (received by LVO).

I really hope to hear something from LVO Soon.

You haven't been called up for interview, so probably you will received MR soon, inshAllah along with updated documents.

Dear All , my old passport will expire this month. I have renewed my passport. Can I submit it now to LVO or should I wait till VO asked about it. Please also let me know, can I submit it as an attachment of CSE or I will courier its hard copy to LVO.

good evening guys,

LVO recently requested for a copy of my "updated passport", which will expire on 14 August 2014. I went to the embassy today and they extended the passport validity until January 2015. They didn't change the bio-page, they only stamped on the third page of the passport indicating the new expiry date.

I tried to renew my passport but I was only given a schedule on May 2014 to apply, and the processing of renewal may take 6 to 8 weeks. With this time frame, I will not be able to comply with the given time frame of submission of LVO, which is 60 days. But regardless, I will apply whatever the circumstance on May 2014.

For the meantime, I will submit my updated passport, with extended validity stamped on the third page....My question is, is LVO going to accept my this? I hope they will, becoz as the embassy official said to me, that is an official amendment....

I hope you guys can advice...

Hi luqi...we r still in doubt whether it was verification call. hence, i did not post details here.
a guy called reception asking my husband's full name n designation (Project manager).receptionist was busy so she immediately transferred to my hubby. the guy then abruptly mentioned the place he was calling from but did not repeat when asked again. he confirmed official email address with my hubby without asking who he is speaking to and hanged up. doubts which force us to think its a verification call are:
- no one knows (or atleast calls) my husband's full name in the company (its little long)
- no email came from any unknown id after tht
-my husband is not only project manager in the company..i mean ppl know him as project manager, procurement manager, office manager, assistant GM..(company is small). he never uses any specific desgination in his signature.
- he did not repeat the email id (its tough to get email id in first time)

anyhow this can still be our doubt..
call came last week. caller number was not noted.
