Hi Interview Guys,

Kindly also ask from LVO officer, why LVO is working slower than other VO.
When it will start working in full swing like NDVO and other are doing

Yes you can send your PCC to LVO by postal mail. They will update your file and mention your UCI, Date of Birth, Name which will help LVO to update your file easily.
Much appreciated.

Dervied from one latest interview by LVO...

He than told me that I am giving you positive legibility review and I am satisfied with your credentials...he than explained my the next process....he told me that I am here for one more week...I am also clearing your criminality record so when I return first I have to finish urgent office matters than I will issue medical request to you...you need to submit the result...as soon as I get the results I would ask you to pay visa fees...and we will issue you the visa which will be valid for 10 months... (February next year, he explicitly said it)..

If you read this, it shows all the steps by LVO:

1. Eligibility Review
2. BG and Criminality Checks
3. Interview (if required / random selection)
4. Medicals
5. Visa Fee (RPRF)
6. Passport Request
7. Visa Issued
Sir

+1 for you

Firstly, good luck to the LVO folks being interviewed in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

So, it's preparing documentation time for me again! ;D

ITEMS TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE INTERVIEW

1. Updated Background/Declaration Schedule A forms (IMM 5669) for you and each dependant, whether accompanying or not, who is now 18 years of age or older. Please provide a complete personal history ensuring all time is accounted for since the age of 18 without any gaps, including any periods of studies, unemployment, or travel. An additional sheet can be used if extra space is required. These forms are available on our website at

I am interpreting "complete personal history...since age of 18" as meaning that section 8 - personal history will be from age 18 instead of only for the past 10 years (I am older than 28 :D ), but I have read elsewhere about people also providing section 12 - addresses since age 18 also. So, what are others doing - are you only extending the answer to section 8, or others too? (or are you all very young so it doesn't make any difference 8) ?)

Appreciate others views.

No not yet. Given this: "please bring a copy of the acknowledgement with you on the day of your interview, ..." I believe they will issue us with something.

I need to get my updated Schedule A etc documents ready now because I will be out of the country for a couple of weeks before the interview.

That's excellent, I guess any May applicants not getting an interview (or rejection - God forbid) can expect MR very soon!

Guys,

I just got my PCC from UAE a couple of days back. this was the one certificate missing in my initial application.

My application is now with LVO, and still haven't heard from them since my PER was sent to me in September.

I reckon there's no reason to wait for them to request it, and it would do no harm to send it right now.

Can you please guide me through the accurate way of sending them the PCC so it can be added to my file?

Many thanks.

Pete
Right you are ! it would be better if you send any missing documents as soon as you get hold of it.

1. Submit a cover letter (along with the PCC) with pertinent information -including but not limited to- UCI, file no, DOB, address, Email.

2. Use courier so that you can easily track your package,

3. Send it to the following address
Canadian High Commission,
Immigration and Medical Services Division,
Macdonald House
38 Grosvenor Street
London W1K 4AA
UK

4. After a few weeks, you can ask them to confirm the receipt of your package (keep the details of the courier tracking)

Good luck !

Dear Silvo,

I am about to post the PCC package to UAE police in order to get the Police clearence certificate. Can you please advise the procedure and requirements of posting the package. How will i get the PCC back from UAE? is there any pre paid envelops I am required to post along with my package? Will greatly appreciate if you can shed some light. I am currently based in Doha.
