Hello Friends

I've a question regarding JD. May be it was asked earlier, but I didn't get it so far what exactly it is in terms of letter and content.

I've more than 9 years of experience as Software developer (NOC 2174). I've all my appointment letters, promotion letters, experience letters of all my 3 jobs.

In experience letter, it was mentioned that what was my designation and what were my duties as software developer (e.g. worked on web development, technologies like asp.net, c# etc.)

Do I need another separate letter for my detailed job description apart from it? Or experience letter would be fine to explain my duties?

I've not provided any such separate letter with my application. But now I've interview scheduled, so if it's required I can ask my previous employer.

Let me know asap.

Thanks

Hi guys, esp Darsh, Loncan waiting for confirmation for Interview, I recieved ths mail just now stating that my interview is confirmed for 20th march in London. No attachments has been provided.

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your confirmation of attendance for interview in London.

Please bring a copy of the previously sent convocation email with you on the day of your interview, along with the documents listed in the interview request.

You will need to show a copy of the original convocation email to the guard at the entrance who will admit you to the waiting room after security procedures have been completed. Once admitted to the waiting room, please present yourself to the receptionist and provide them with a copy of the original convocation email, so that the interviewing officer can be notified.

Due to the number of scheduled interviews, should you be late for your interview, it will not be possible for your interview to be conducted later that same day.

Now that your interview has been confirmed, if you are unable to attend, you must notify us immediately by sending an email to london-im-interview@international.gc.ca. Due to the logistical complexity in organizing interviews, we are not able to reschedule an interview. Should you fail to attend the above scheduled interview, your application may be assessed by on officer based on the information currently on file at that time, which may result in the refusal of your application.

Firstly, good luck to the LVO folks being interviewed in Abu Dhabi tomorrow.

So, it's preparing documentation time for me again! ;D

ITEMS TO BRING WITH YOU TO THE INTERVIEW

1. Updated Background/Declaration Schedule A forms (IMM 5669) for you and each dependant, whether accompanying or not, who is now 18 years of age or older. Please provide a complete personal history ensuring all time is accounted for since the age of 18 without any gaps, including any periods of studies, unemployment, or travel. An additional sheet can be used if extra space is required. These forms are available on our website at

I am interpreting "complete personal history...since age of 18" as meaning that section 8 - personal history will be from age 18 instead of only for the past 10 years (I am older than 28 :D ), but I have read elsewhere about people also providing section 12 - addresses since age 18 also. So, what are others doing - are you only extending the answer to section 8, or others too? (or are you all very young so it doesn't make any difference 8) ?)

Appreciate others views.
Ihad given both section 8 and 12 since age 18....

Hi guys, I know this is a crucial period for everyone, loads of tensions and anxiety but lets be optimistic and positive and hope for the best.

However, it's been about 3 weeks since my former employer received a call from a visa officer from LVO asking for confirmation of my dates of employment, job roles and duties and my employer said the officer seemed okay and happy with the answers he furnished. My NOC is 1112, I'm May 25th applicant and I currently reside in the UK.

My reason for seeking for some heads up from you guys is because untill now I have not got any interview request/date or MR. What could be the likely scenario please? I need some advice guys.

Goodluck evereyone.

Hi. I don't think you need to worry about that since the VO seemed satisfied with the response from your previous employer. That call received by your previous employer was your interview. You will get your MR in due course. We are all in this waiting game together. Cheers.

Many Congrats to all those who cleared the LVO interview... Best of luck who are yet in the schedule or who are waiting for interview result...

Just a quick question...as VO told to many applicants after the interview that Criminality is also cleared...what does it mean? Does it mean that all BG checks, security and criminality checks are done and only pending thing is Medical....? What is the difference in All these checks (BG, Security, Criminality)??

What a discrimination!!! In one thread people are enjoying with their DM and in other thread applicants are crying for Medical Request. It is too frustrating.

COG11,

In case of bank statement or certificate, the minimum closing balance must be equal to or more than the CIC's requirement of funds based on the size of the family.

By the way, what is your NOC & date of application and where & when you are called for the interview?
