ECAS Updated to "Decision Made".



Senior members, I am hopeful that I am going to hear good news from LVO soon, in the form of PPR2.

Can you suggest generally how long it takes to get PPR 2 after ecas is updated to decision made?

Buddy, it is very straight forward; for degree from UK, he will follow instructions for UK and for degree from Pak, he will follow instructions for Pak.

By the way, for Canadian Immigration, he needs to submit ECA for highest degree unless his highest degree is not equivalent to Canadian degree of same level. To get full points for education, ECA only for highest degree is enough. If his Master's degree gets equivalency of Canadian Bachelor degree, he won't get 23 points rather 21 points and if he also submits Bachelor degree for ECA, then he will get 22 points for 2 Bachelor degrees.

Since his Bachelor's degree may have an issue to be assessed by WES because he may get a note on the report that University is not recognized, therefore he should consider other assessing authorities.

The University from which he gained the Masters degree is in the list of WES and also the preliminary results on the WES website shows it is equivalent to 2 years Masters degree. So I guess the best shot is to go for Masters degree from WES as other assessing authorities are going to consume a lot of time.

Any comments for further betterment are most welcome.

Alhamdulillah received request for medical examination and RPRF yesterday. when I checked the ECAS, it shows "We started processing your application on August 15, 2014".

Thanks to the group mates who provided me their suggestions and valued feedback when I required that at the earlier phases of my application and at the time of additional documents request.

dear members i got my gcms notes yesterday,in my notes they have mentioned that interview decision to be taken,when this complted request PC and additional doc but i have been asked additional doc on 5 may 2014 which i submitted but not been asked for interview yet, no second line,BG checks in process as per VO.plz tll will i be asked for interview or they have waived it

Thank you all for your support preparing my docs. I think I should get following points confirmed from you guys.

1. In main form IMM 0008 I mentioned my current occupation as Senior Business Analyst, IT and Intended occupation as Systems Analyst, IT. Hope this is okay, right?

2. In form IMM 0008_ 3e Experience section 12. b) I have three job title for my 4 years experiences- Business Analyst, Team Coordinator, Sr. Business Analyst. I mentioned these three titles as occupation in section 12. b) (NOC code 2171 for all). Then from these three, I mentioned Business Analyst, IT (NOC 2171) in section 12 a) . Is it okay?

3. I was in Business Analyst position for 8 months before promoting to Team Coordinator. As 0008_3e form has recently been changed on 21st August 2014, I mentioned that as 1 year experience. There is no option to select if you have less than one year exp. in one position in the new form. Is that okay.?

I am reviewing again. I may come back later. Please give me some feedback on above points. Thank you in advance.

mabmabs: I will advise you utterly to order CAIPS notes to check why your case is not moving. Probably there is a simple doc or info, which you provided, is missing or unclear. Based on CAIPS notes observations, we will be able to help you to get through.

Mish: Masah Allah, you are one of the luckiest ones among us whom Canada desperately want! Insha Allah, I will "share" my landing experience. I am planning to land by end of September.
