I have sent my PPR-1 documents through email on LNDIMMIGRATION @ international . gc . ca , and through courier.
My sister mailed her Schedule A forms , a year earlier through email , upon raising query , visa officer bounced that they have received nothing.
To be on safer side and to avoid risk , I used both channels to communicate / send required information.
At this stage , I believe that safety is key , where as courier charges are nominal
