I submitted my passport on 4th June (Wednesday).

Today on 13th June, (Friday), nine days later, my ECAS status is still "Medical results have been received". Still not changed to "Decision Made".

So submit your passports as soon as possible. Riyadh appears to be taking its own sweet time as well.

Guys let me know if this is a safe idea and recommended for DXB residents to have the DD as POF made from Sharaf or AL Ansari or UAE Exchange rather than from banks like ADIB and SCB.

Reason being for not taking DD from banks as they don't give better rates as compare to exchanges.

I know there is another option to open the SCOTIA bank account right from DXB, but do not want to do that as other banks gives a lot of more features than Scotia bank, so will open the bank account once I reach there.

I have created an account on WES on 2 weeks ...Paid the amount. But I have entered wrong last name on WES and so my online acc shows wrong name.

I have contacted with WES. But they are not responding....


Please advise....Will WES send me wrong Named report...Or they will issue my name according to the academic Certificate name...Even with the wrong acc name?

They hardly respond to emails, but from experience what I have seen is they will follow your instructions but may not wish to revert back to you.

Stay calm you cannot do anything more at this stage, if I were at WES should have followed what is written on your degree rather than WES online account which can have typos, make sense.

Hi, u can log into your account and edit ur profile. I hope it helps. If not, try to contact WES again although they would most likely use the name on your credentials submitted to prepare your evaluation report.

I believe you will be taking a direct flight from UAE to Canada.
Carrying cash from UAE to Canada is safe , and easy.
Many immigrants carry cash - No issues
Otherwise do shopping , and buy best product from any vendor

Its not allowing once payment is done to edit the names. I already emailed them, but no response is on my email :-\
