There is no need for this confusion as it is clear on the CIC webpage that rprf could be paid. Honestly I have been following this debate for sometime but i wanted to let people know where i stand now. I think people should stop this scaremongering. After all LVO is part of the CIC and why would they not accept online payment available on their parent website. Personally i will pay online when i get to that stage.
Fellow forumites, I wish to express my conviction on this mater. I fully stand by IloveAB and Johnnyzee on this issue and I will pay my RPRF too via CIC online option when its time.
To think of it, LVO is merely working for CIC or we can call them CIC branch in London.
Jigzzy rightly stated that the dd/postal order only accepted by LVO is basicly written for PERMANENT RESIDENT APPLICATION FEES and not for RPRF. However on RPRF, it is also stated on that same link that RPRF can be paid with the initial application fee. I paid my initial application fee with CC and had I known&wish to pay my RPRF then, I would have paid it online/via CC as well. LVO would not have reject it because its stated clearly like that on their website.
Besides, I stand to lose nothing but rather to gain processing speed, cheaper conversion rate and if any cheaper fees on online payment compared to popular DD option. I am sure that LVO will rather be happy that I save them encashment time and hence focus on other things to meet up with their target for 1 year processing period. I am optimistic that our payment choice will be acceptable to LVO and this forum and other candidate will come to agree with us about it.
Thank you.
