i have second line "processing started 21st Jan", still no Medical request or RPRF.

Thanks Luqi for the info, it seems different visa officers have different methods to access applications.

People interviewed on 26 & 27th FEB, 2nd line was added on 12th March, MR came on 2nd April.

Saw this update in the first week of March.

It seems sending MR after/before few days of 2nd line depends on Immigration officer assessing our files. Few days after/before 2nd line on Ecas, some IO may issue MR along with additional docs request while others may first request additional docs, take couple of months to review docs and then finally issue MR. This is just guesstimate and I may be wrong.

For applicants who attended interview, the pattern of issuing MR may be different.

Yes rawdah even I think the visa officers assess files according to info they receive. In my case they may be reviewing documents and performing back ground checks. I would like to add that I had a previous application which was cancelled due the the backlog reduction program of pre 2008 applications and a visit visa application that was denied (they could be digging into that info)

Additional Documents requested on 21 Feb 2014,
Documents submitted on 20 March, 2014,
no news till date.......

Thanks ZN908for the info, we are quite near in terms of processing started. Was a bit worried that I had no correspondence yet. Nevertheless God willing we will all successfully land in Canada soon .

You submitted them on March 20th and expect LVO to get back to you in 2 weeks :-\ Anyway, I hope it's a speedy process ahead, but do not expect with in a month of submission from LVO. Your visa officer is notified with the documents you have sent, BUT they'll take their time to verify and process.

I know they take some time for further processing.. i am just sharing processing start date and progress with forum members...

Very good initiative by Abu Hassan. We all should register and ask them for on site session rather than for online it's informative.

More requests will influence them to come and have the local session in UAE.

They do not conduct these seminars here in Pakistan it's online only. However, IOM is another option, I have sent requests to both, CIIP replied to send them supporting documents (Medical form to be precise), waiting to hear from IOM though.

When CIC cancelled all the old appl. in 2008, The news from CIC was:

"What the Action Plan for Faster Immigration's instructions mean for applicants

Federal skilled worker applications received on or after February 27, 2008, will now be assessed for eligibility according to the criteria set out in the instructions. If an application does not meet the criteria, it will not be processed, and the application fee will be fully refunded. New federal skilled worker applicants, including those with arranged employment, should receive a decision within six to 12 months. "

Last week I received an e-mail about medicals as well as paying the right of permanent residence fee. However the e-mail never said how or where I should pay this fee. Does anyone know if I can pay by credit card, or do I need to send a bank draft. And if it is via bank draft, who do I make it out to and just as important what is the address I mail the draft to?
Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.
