Thank Hilo01 and Tashford for the link.
Closer look at the information there refers to application already being reviewed and certain documents been requested. In our case here, they have not even started reviewing (if permitted 'touched') our files even for the FSW 2013 earliest applicant at LVO. I guess the link I earlier supplied more like tells us about the actual average processing time at LVO which simply refers us to unfavourable 25months.
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/united_kingdom-royaume_uni/visas/processing-traitement.aspx
I am of the opinion that the said 120 days is actually not referring to our case but LVO is indirectly relying on the cic 25 months average processing time posted.
Thank you.
Hi GisG,
I want to believe that the 120 days also applies to Fswp 2013. That link was in response to FAQ for Skilled workers and professionals (including FSWP 2013 applicants). In my earlier post, I quoted an email from LVO regarding an enquiry I made about my application. I am posting it again: "The London visa office has received your email. We'll reply within 28 days. Don't resend your enquiry. We reply first to emails we consider urgent where the urgency is stated clearly. We only reply to case status enquiries
if the processing time shown on www.UnitedKingdom.gc.ca (not www.cic.gc.ca) has passed. If you've submitted new information, we'll update your file without replying".
Here is the quote from that link:"
Due to the large amount of documents received at our office, it may take 4 months or more for incoming documents to be reviewed and for the next step to be taken in your immigration application. Please do not contact the office for at least 120 days after you have submitted new information as repeated letters and e-mails only slow the process." We may not have submitted new information to LVO but the fact remains that they have received our documents from CIC. see quote in RED which may also take 4 months (120days) for documents to be reviewed. So in my opinion, LVO should review our documents after 4 months(120 days) of receipt from CIC which should be anytime from
November this week to early December.
