FOR ALL THE DOCTORS GOING TO PAK IOM FOR MEDICALS
all doctors going for medicals are required to give additional blood tests of Hep B and Hep C.. in case if they forget you have to remind them that you are a doctor otherwise another instruction will come from CIC for these additional tests and it will delay the process.

how long does it take for the medical forms? i am for medical but no forms. sent CSE 2 times already but no replies..

Do you mean that only doctors are required for Hep B and Hep C tests??? All others are not tested for these???

very disappointing to see applicants from other VOs are sharing their landing experience and here we LVO applicants are even waiting for medical request. Don't know what special is happening with our applications that LVO is taking this much time.

What I have heard that they will finish each case in one complete year. The time starts from date of submission. But in your case almost 10th months has passed but no progress. Have you raised CSE and what response have you got?. We can do just pray and wait nothing else.

You are right. Even from LVO, many applications from Nov, Dec are moving and old applications are stuck somewhere.

Actually i raised CSE in June to add my new born in application and to inquire about the status of the application and they responded that my child has been added and my application is in que to be reviewed by visa officer. Its been almost 11 months to application submission and almost 7 months to PER, no SLU, no document request nothing!

I have just checked status of my ECAS and it is showing 2nd line now. Strangely it says:

We started processing your application on February 2, 2015, whereas I have received my MR on 03-Aug-2015.

The 2nd line on ECAS was not visible in the morning.

Actually i raised CSE in June to add my new born in application and to inquire about the status of the application and they responded that my child has been added and my application is in que to be reviewed by visa officer. Its been almost 11 months to application submission and almost 7 months to PER, no SLU, no document request nothing!

Hi all,

Received medical forms for myself and family yesterday (had received MR etc mail on 30th July). Booked appointment for medicals through email from IOM Islamabad for the 19th August. They have asked for valid polio vaccination for each family member, as well as recent annual medical for kids under 12. Just FYI )

It means that they started working on your file in feb..maybe they sent for background checks..MR has nothing to do with SLU.

Maybe..because they told me if you are a doctor(practising or not) you have to pay for HepB and Hep C too..other than the mentioned cost of medicals
