US POLICE CLEARANCE

DEAR FORUM MATES,

I AM A FREQUENT FLYER TO US.IN 2013 I TRAVELED AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH TO US, IN SOME CASES TWICE A MONTH. THE MAXIMUM DURATION OF MY STAY IN US DID NOT EXCEEDED 8 DAYS/ VISIT.

DO I STILL NEED FBI CLEARANCE? PLEASE ADVISE.

I would recommend you to get FBI certificate now as there is no harm in getting it. Visa officer may ask you to submit FBI certificate even though the stay was less than 6 months. Getting FBI certificate is a lengthy process of 6-8 weeks.

Visa officer requested us to submit the same although our stay in US was never exceeded 6 months. I personally know one more applicant who was requested to submit.

Again it depends entirely on visa officer. I don't state that it is must.

This reply from LVO is standard. No clue from any of us. Only god n LVO can answer this.
Since no response from LVO this forum is not growing, if you see NDVO the pages are growing day by day....
Lets hope the best. Only CIC can instruct them.
