After 04 Years , LVO has responded my application

I have received email from LVO , at 14:09 Hrs PST today , and they have advised me to submit following with in 60 Days


“This email refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order to continue processing
your application, we require the additional documents listed below

• New IMM0008 application for Permanent Residence Form
  New Schedule A Background/ Declaration forms
  New Additional Family Information forms IMM5406 for yourself and your spouse
  Original police certificates for yourself and your spouse from all countries in which you have each
  resided for 6 months or more since the age of 18
  Updated passport copies for yourself and each family member
  Copies of the long form birth certificates with translations for yourself, your spouse and your daughter
  Updated proof of settlement funds.
  

Signed - CDD”

Now I am in active processing que , and hope that I will enjoy smooth processing like many

The second line in my ECAS just appeared and it says "We started processing your application on March 7, 2014". I only noticed it today...

And here is my timeline:

Application Received @ CIO - 21 November 2013
Credit Card Charge - 11 January 2014
PER Received - 24 January 2014
Transfer to LVO - 07 March 2014

Guys, could you please advise what is the next step I should expect from LVO and when this would be...

Hi Rawda, how are you...

Im in Dubai, and I just received the 2nd line in my ECAS....it was last 07 March 2014 that they started the processing of my application...

May I just ask if you already received an e-mail from the Visa Office? and when and what is this all about...? If it is okay with you I hope we can share updates to help each other....

Dear Ibasco, can you give your NOC? considering LVO action ur lucky and your process is very fast. If am right you will get MR email in the next stage provided you have all your documents submitted.

Thanks..... my NOC is Computer engineers (except software engineers/designers) ........but what is the processing timeline..... i though it will be few months.........when my file processing can start........my cousin told me that it will be 1 year but it didn't seems to be the case.

Dear friend, you have to pray god to strat your process. "No One knows when LVO can start the process'. But the guideline to all VO is clear that they have to complete the process within one year. I hope it starts from the date they had received. But due to past strike LVO is delayed.

Hope all FSW2013 will completed by end of 2014. 8)

you figured out correct. To file the application in the month of May itself, I am sure all May applicants would have spent their time and energy with lot of presssure. Our LVO has to take FIFO basis. So that the May applicants will be assured that their pain is getting real gain. Lets hope the best and Pray god... 8)

Any clue from Seniors why its not FIFO?

FIFO is only guaranteed at CIO level. Visa Offices & Immigration Officers are not bound to follow FIFO because that would not make sense. Each case for them is different. AT CIO level, every case for them is similar, BECAUSE they are just checking documents, NOC's, completeness etc, and making it count towards CAP. At Visa Office level, they'll elaborate each step more thoroughly. Some cases are straight forward, some takes time.

Also, cases are assigned to different IO (Immigration Officers) at visa level, so each one has different work load, with different ways of handling things. Some may prefer to check education first, some may prefer to verify experience. Some of IO may check each and everything, while some may skip few steps. It's all at discretion of the Visa Officer.

I have mentioned in my previous post that when I was interviewed, I asked my Visa Officer and he said that they are aware of 1 year deadline and they are trying to wrap them in 1 year deadline (Starting from PER date). So if for some reason it's delayed, it'll still be completed by the end '14 (that's the maximum time).

They asked me to submit Schedule A background declaration form and PCC

one more thing...... I didn't send the PCC with initial application.......can that be the reason for application being in "PA - Put away" !!!!!!!
