[size=10pt]For me, it's been 185+ days since PER. There has been no PCC, no MR, no RPRF until now.

I'm thinking about abandoning this plan because I suspect that once landed, the authorities will also treat administrative issues with a similar snail speed and cause unbearable hardship.[/size]

When you say once "landed" what is it you are referring to? Surely once we get our visa's stamped the will be little to no paperwork in Canada?

When you say once "landed" what is it you are referring to? Surely once we get our visa's stamped the will be little to no paperwork in Canada?

A.) Health insurance
B.) Registration at the public job services such as [4].
C.) Effectiveness/strategies of the general public service - public job agency in particular.

The later being most important as the unemployment rates among FSW immigrants[1] is currently appalling but no one/nothing is talking about it neither has there been an iota of evidence that something is being done about it. A visible effort/government policies to change the stone hearts of Canadian employers is a far cry. Instead all attentions are being focused on "Canada needs immigrants", the channels for immigrating to Canada keeps expanding[2], pending applications receive no explanations for the long waits, many more FSW immigrants are becoming jobless on arrival [3].

Sent a request for address update and case followup request couple of days back. Yesterday got a reply that address has been updated, and followed by another reply from "MCH" - a single line update, as follows:
"The address has been updated. Your application is in a queue awaiting review.

MCH
Immigration and Medical Services Division"

This is making me crazy!

- Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee
- Medical results (you will receive a separate email with instructions)
- Please complete and return the attached Updated Information Chart
- Updated copy of the passport data page

Is this MR?? Coz they r asking for fee and passport as well.

Please share ur opinions.
