Hello All;

Please can anyone advise on what I can do to get update from LVO - my ECAS update shows the 4th line since 16/01/2015 that a decision has been made on my application and no PPR-2 till now.

I have sent several email to them to request for a correspondence on what decision is made on my application but I am yet to receive any reply. My VO is EFL - I am really beginning to be worried.

My timeline is

July 7, 2014. - Application Received.
October 17, 2014. - LVO started processing Application
November 20, 2014 - Medical Request
December 12, 2014 - Medical Done
January 09, 2015 - Medical results have been Received
January 16, 2015 -a decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

Today I checked my ecas and was shocked to see the 2nd line added to it that is we started processing ur application on 9th Feb 2015 as I received 3rd line directly in July about medical received....now after ppr1 addition of this 2nd line may not delay my case...what do u say???

I am a 17 Dec applicant and my CC was charged on 9th Feb. Yesterday i called CIC and got my UCI no.(8 digit number starting with 9)
Now when I am checking my eCAS it is showing either your file is not processed yet or you have entered wrong details..
but I have entered every field right but still eCAS seems to be inactive!

My Question to you guys is:-
1) Does eCAS gets active along with charging or it takes some time after charging to get active?
2) Has any one experienced this problem initially and then his/her eCAS became active after some time?

if the security and criminality etc. checks are complete then you will receive PPR2 soon (within a month) otherwise you have to wait for these checks to complete

Hi Team,

I have a weird question to ask. Yesterday, I had gone to professional photographer to get the revised pictures as requested by LVO. this is for me, my wife and 1.3 year old kid.

The question is that I tried alot to make my kid sit straight and look at the camera but he didnt look straight at all. he was just looking here and there, when i finally gave up and checked his most suitable picture, I found that his eyes are not actually looking at the camera but slightly somewhere else.

I am really not sure if I can use the same picture or give one more attempt? We had tried to take atleast 30 pictures and in all pics either he looks at the light, the wires or at us

What do you think guys?

check the second link in the letter requesting for passport photos. There are slight considerations for children. Hope this helps you.

I am talking about the confirmation form which the hospital can generate when you go for medicals apart from the payment receipt. Its upto you if u send it via email or include it in courier along with RPRF/PCC/Updated Info chart , I sent it both ways

Bro in Pakistan IOM does not provide this conformation form so u only have the payment receipt

in fact i did not receive this chart ! i only received the MR form which i should take to Dr. plus they requested for the RPRF to be paid

U will get that at later stage
Every VO has a different way of working at LVO, no standard SOP

I received all these requests seperatly so there is nothing to be worried about

What is the Latest MR request at LVO ??

LVO does not work in FIFO order like CIC, its all random or some sort of system that no one understands so u won't be able to guess anything by asking latest MR

LVO recommends that one should not plan any journey for 4 weeks after the passport has been submitted. So usually you will receive your passport back by 4 weeks. But my feeling is that you will get it back within 10 working days.

By the way, did you send an email to your visa officer requesting him/her to allow stamping in india? If you haven't done so, i would recommend you doing that.

Yeah, You are correct they just returned passport in just 3 working days... I did request them but they haven't replied yet so mean time I had my friend going to London so I sent my passport with him and he submitted on Monday and today they returned the same. Now I have another friend who is coming next weekend so at the end it was good decision to send.
