Relax you should be hearing from LVO soon. You should consider the fact that they are moving to a new office and thus there might be an additional delay.

It's very confusing my friends
Some said 2-3 weeks after decision made and other 1 week after medical submission

I am confused any help
As I submit my medical and PCC from 4 days :(((

For child tax benefit allowance, its not advisable to apply, as u r going temporary.

For health card, if u r landing in toronto, waiting time is 3 months after arrival.

In other provinces (other than ontario), u can apply after landing.

if you are doing temporary landing you cannot apply for either. you need to be an actual resident, meaning you will live in canada permanently. you can apply once you come back for good.

Salam everyone especially those who got ppr2:
I asked TCS Isl...
Why TCS is late as comparision to fedex
The man said Fedex aapko visa lgwa kr wapas
deliver krta hai is liye wo visa fees b charge krte
hain aur jldi b bhej dete hain.. They hv contact
with the Embassy... And TCS only deliver to
Embassy and wait to get back.. Tb hi TCS late
hojata hai...
You people send your passports through Fedex..
if needed earlier..
Wese sb Allah ki rza se hota hai and "the best" hota

Dear,

What can anyone do if the LVO asks to submit passports via TCS? They do not mention Fedex in PPR2.

What I know is that you cannot apply for Child tax benefits unless you are actually a resident and paying tax to your province.

For the health insurance card in Ontario, it is my question as well, since there is a 3-month waiting time, is it possible to apply immediately after landing (with a copy of bank statement as proof of address) and get the card after 3 months mailed to an address of a friend or relative? So when you move permanently, you will have the card ready for use if needed.

If a person is doing a short landing and staying in a hotel or with friends, there won't be any lease agreement on his/her to prove the address. So the question here is:
-Does health insurance office accept bank statement as a proof of address to apply for health insurance card?
-Is it possible to get a printed bank statement directly from the bank after 3-4 days of opening an account?
(even if it requires paying a fee). Because by the time your first month statement is sent by mail, you will be out of Canada (as short lander).

Appreciate your feedback.

I believe it has something to do with each application. A friend of mine who got his PER on the 20th of September, got his MR in 3 week's time and he's already sent his passport for stamping. I got my PER on 4th October and I've got no news since then. I think it's because my wife and I have traveled quite a lot over the last 10 years and this will take more time to check up on. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

I think LVO is comparatively slow .

Not quite so. The friend I've mentioned in my previous post was processed by the LVO.
