it has been a while...
I was waiting for MR however, it seems the delay was for a reason, I have emailed LVO and I have got this repl...... this now makes it even longer process

this is the reply

Your application has been reviewed and it has been determined that an interview is required.

Your file is now in a queue awaiting interview scheduling and you will be informed of date, once this has been scheduled. The interview will take place in Abu Dhabi.

Each application is unique and it is not possible to compare one application with another with respect to case processing.

anyone else with the same boat.. now even i don't know how long it will take for scheduling the interview..... they said it will take 6 months but they are not sure.... I hate waiting... it stops you from planning...

For me, PPR2 only but I went for interview. MAYBE during the time of interview, the VO photocopied my passport already.

I got only PPR2.. no PPR1 for me

I have observed that there are two processing unit in Islamabad for visa stamping one is "Visa processing unit (LDN) and second is "phep ldn immigrant". The processing time of second unit is very fast and people are getting back their passport in 4/5 days while the processing time of unit 1 is more than a month.

Please confirm who have recently send their passport and received back.

I waited for more than 6months before I got my interview schedule. I got PER Sept 26, 2013 and was interviewed September 28, 2014.

Unfortunately, WAITING is one the biggest challenge we have to face in the application process.

Yes, it was in Abu Dhabi. It was ok. As long as you know the details of your job (or work experience), there's nothing to worry. It's not a technical interview.

My passports were received in ISB VO on 12th November. I am still waiting for my passports to return. My passports were delivered to VPU. How do we know if my passports are in 1st or 2nd unit? Do you have any idea how long could it take to get my passports back?

This is just my observation and may be wrong... i have observed that passports which are sent to VPU processing address are taking more than months ... sameerjaved is the guy on forum got got his passport after 85 days
