Hello All,

Anyone can guide me in this situation.

I dispatched through normal TCS my passports and it was delivered on 20th aug at CHC Isb. and still I am waiting.

I am worried about my passports.
I had sent multiple times emails on london as well as on Islamabad address.

Well, i am listening this first time since i have joined this forum.

Generally, they should be asking for RPRF and Medical at this stage rather than asking for PPR1 details.

Seems every VO has his own way of proceeding on his alloted cases.

By the way, what are initials of your VO?

Yousaf, got MR in June asked for updated background forms
which I sent in June my ecas was added with second line in July
" medical results have been received" in start of September new line appeared
We started processing your application on September 2014.
Exactly month after I got PPR1, pray to Allah for all members those waiting
for PPRs..

Now i know how KKB work, because until now i did not get 2nd line "We started processing your application...."

It seems he request MR first then after receiving MR he add " medical results have been received" then "We started processing your application...."

I'm still waiting for MR..

I GOT MY MEDICAL REQUEST JUST NOW. HURRAY!!! I'm so happy.

I have a question about Proof of settlement funds. Is this original and updated bank statement based on the amount stated in the CIC website?

The amount in the bank account should be equal to or more than the amount mentioned on the CIC website. Updated bank statement shall have the same amount..

I have a few questions. I hope our senior or knowledgeable members here will find the time to answer. Thank you in advance!

1. Do I need to do fasting for the medical? What do they mainly check?
ANS: No fasting needed. They carry out chest x-ray, note height, weight and eye-sight, carry out blood and urine tests and physical examination. In case they find out something to worry about they will call you before sending the results to CIC.

2. After I completed the medical and all additional documents, what is the next step and how long do I have to wait?
ANS: You will be asked to submit passport scanned copies. They will contact you with in a duration of one month to six months depending upon the background checks they carry out. Till then you will have to sit tight.

3. If God-willing I completed my visa application process by December, is it correct that I have 1 year allowance to make my first landing in Canada? It's like December2014 - December2015.
ANS: The visa will expire with either one year after the date when the applicant had underwent medicals (Not visa issuance date) or with the expiration of passport or whichever expires earlier.

4. If after I got my visa, I got married, can I immediately apply for my spouse visa? How long does he needs to wait?
ANS: Yes! You can add her immediately but the process will get back to the step of medicals. You will update CIC about your marriage, send them updated documents, they will send you her medical request, then passport request and so on..

I have received the stamped visa + COPR

Here is my detailed timeline:

16-Jul-13 : Application reached CIC
18-Oct-13 : PER
19-Jun-14 : Medical and RPRF request
19-Jul-14 : Third line added on ECAS: "Medical results have been received."
25-Sep-14 : PPR1 request
30-Sep-14 : Email Received to submit passports to VFS Global's offices
09-Oct-14 : Passports submitted to VFS Global's offices.
14-Oct-14 : Collected passports+COPRs

What does PPR1 means?

The request to send scanned copies of passport via email prior to the request of original passports for visa stamping is called PPR-1. After PPR-1, original passports are requested which is referred to as PPR-2.

Dear Saeed

Please provide the following items within 30 days:

1. Police certificates from Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for self and spouse (if a good quality colour photocopy of the attached form is presented, this may suffice to obtain these certificates. If not, please advise us and we will send by post).


2. Please also complete and return the attached form and provide scanned copies of passport bio pages.

Thirty days are very less for PCC from pak , provided i am in KSA and can not expedite the process.
pls check second line , is this PP request -1 and updated form.

Medical request RPRF not requested. when should i expect to receive them.

thanks. I would take a colored copy and hopefully it will do the purpose.
They have sent one more form in excel asking passport details snd eye colors and height for my self and family. They slso requested to provide bio copies of pp.

My question .. do they send it normally to all candidates wen they request pcc from them .

That form and copy of passport is consider as ppr1 so congratz and submit ur original pcc as soon as possible. Now u r almost at last stage
