By the way, all these r our theories bcoz xp4com sent his passport on 1st Sep and got back on 14 Sep which shows there are no system problems or whatsoever....but just fingers crossed and praying for positive news

I just saw your previous posts, I came to know that your program assistant is CDD and you are London based - so it means you got PPR - the request to submit your passport, plz confirm are you UK national (means visa exempted and so you need only COPR) or national of some other country.....I'm asking all that 'coz we are waiting for our PPR2 (many forum members here) and it is being believed now that LVO has some problem in visa printing system......so if you are from a country whose nationals require visa for entry to Canada and have gotten PPR, it means now LVO has corrected their visa printing system and so we can expect our PPR2 in coming days.....

My VO is indeed CDD and I'm from a visa national..it might be that LVO has issues and glad if we all agree its been resolved..but here is my conclusion..I attended ciip in london on Tuesday and to my surprise lots of the participants already have their visa..some have even landed yet few are on this forum so I'm of the opinion that LVO never stopped work at anytime..I can understand there haven't been serious movement recently I hope with God that everyone is closer to the canadian dream than they think....let's keep the faith up..cheers

I have got PPR1 today.

My consultant just told me on call..

Wish you all a speedy process and that I get my PPR2 and visa soon..

How is life in Edmonton treating you. I hope you are doing well. How is the job prospect and accommodation like in Edmonton? A friend sent me a picture of snow in Calgary which obviously means we are entering into winter. Will be doing our short landing next month end.

Life's good. The weather here in Edmonton is pretty warm now, although there was snow last 2 weeks(a day). Accommodation is fairly ok, depending on what u are looking for. Job wise, again, it depends on your profession.Good luck to u and the rest of forum members.
