London visa office - Photo Request

It has been approx. 3 weeks since we are received such requests and many forwarded? Is there any update with anyone?

I sent my photos on Saturday and it delivered Monday. Have you applied through premiers or on your own?

There is a Sept 4 applicant in another forum who got his 2nd line update from LVO on the 18th Feb. He was not requested to resubmit photos so that means not all September applicants were asked to.

Which leads me to think that maybe there was something wrong with the earlier photos we have sent.

Anyway, hopefully this will not cause any further delays.

I am September applicant, got same request on 10 Feb and new photos were received in LVO on 16 Feb. There is no update after that. I think within next couple of weeks we will start receiving response, this is my personal assessment.

I have checked and found no change in pics specs, I have also discussed with my photographer who has my all previous pics record. Only one additional point, get the photographer details on back side of picture....if this is compulsory then every applicant should receive this request which is not the case.

Usually email comes from relevant visa officer unless it is for Medical so I think soon we can have medical call. I have checked from almost all who got this request and found that everyone has submitted PCC with application so we will go direct for Medical.

Please keep updating.

Let us see when this mystery is solved but one thing is for sure, pics are not lost in transit. I have ordered for GCMS notes on 16 Feb, now waiting from both sides

Old and new pics have exactly same specs so this is not the case. Early Sept and even early Oct applicants are getting photo requests, logic of photos lost also does not apply as you can not assume both Sept and Oct applicants files were being shifted to LVO at same time.

Hello guys,

October applicant.
PCC sent with application.
Received photo request on 18th Feb.

The only difference is that the new ones require the photo studio stamp.
Otherwise I didn't find any difference in the specs for the previous and the new ones.

Also, my theory as to why we are getting photo request is as follows:
'Previous photo taken End Sept, 1st week Oct. So its almost 5 months. That's why they require new photos I think.'

Anybody here who send photo to LVO and recieved by J.Talpur?

When you send photo did you also email LVO informing them that you send photo? or just sending photo by courier is enough?

because i only send it thru Aramex and did not inform them thru email.

You should be happy if you are not getting photo request because there are limited no of applicants getting this request.
