London visa office - Photo Request

Hello guys,

October applicant.
PCC sent with application.
Received photo request on 18th Feb.

The only difference is that the new ones require the photo studio stamp.
Otherwise I didn't find any difference in the specs for the previous and the new ones.

Also, my theory as to why we are getting photo request is as follows:
'Previous photo taken End Sept, 1st week Oct. So its almost 5 months. That's why they require new photos I think.'

If we agree on your theories then every applicant from September onwards must get new photo request which is not the case. Photo studio stamp was not previously applicable and also time period is for all applicants.....yes there is no change in spcs ......I am assuming all those getting photo request will have MR very soon.....there seems no other logic and also check sender of photos ....its Immigration and Medical Department not any visa officer

Thing is there are applicants in may, june july and august that are still waiting to get MR from LVO and they should have been asked too if they are asking for applicants whose file have been with them for more than 6 months...

The suspense is just killing me. It's almost 6 months now of waiting from the time of submission.

Brother, could this mean a file is only assigned to a visa officer after MR?

Thing is there are applicants in may, june july and august that are still waiting to get MR from LVO and they should have been asked too if they are asking for applicants whose file have been with them for more than 6 months...

LVO is not working on any pattern as you can see one guy from September got his second line updated so you can expect anything from LVO. Mystery will take some weeks to solve so let us wait till someone gets response after submission of photos.

My friend and I sent the application on same date. took photos from same studio, exactly the same number of family members. Today he got photo submission request. no idea why.

Nothing to worry about, if you check specs of pics then you will find no difference except photographer stamp..,,your friend will also receive same request very soon.,,send the pics and wait forupdate

Anybody here who send photo to LVO and recieved by J.Talpur?

When you send photo did you also email LVO informing them that you send photo? or just sending photo by courier is enough?

because i only send it thru Aramex and did not inform them thru email.

Don't know. My tracking shows that the courier i sent was signed by 'MISTAQH'

what is earliest date when revised pics were received by LVO, there is long silence after sending requests ....

It looks like people are only receiving their MR after 3-4 months from LVO according to the trend.

as my per my knowledge the earliest photo was requested 4 Feb and submitted was 10th February.

The surprising part is that the letter was sent by Medical & Immigration department without any visa officer initials.
As per my consultant, the MR will be soon as photos are used in medical forms.

There is a confusion in new pictures requirement, one specification page says "one picture must contain stamp of studio and date" while the other specification says there must be the name and DOB of the person in picture. Which specification we must follow?

One picture must contain stamp of studio (stamp will have name of studio, address and date the photo was taken). On that same photo, you have to write your name and DOB as well.
Hope this clears your confusion.

but it is also mention that if photographer cannot stamp then you can handwrite the details.

My photographers's stamp was too big for photo so I wrote details by hand on back of photo.

This is what my personal opinion also, there is no change in specs so my earlier photos were fine. Why not all applicants receiving revised photos request etc....also sender was Medical & Immigration so I am hoping MR email will land shortly for all who received photos request.
