"In response to your enquiry, please be advised that this application is currently awaiting review by an immigration officer. We will be in contact with further information once this review has taken place. Medical results have been assessed and are valid until 12-08-2013."

please can someone give explain if that means the background check is finished or in process or not yet started?

Dear Seniors,
I am April 2010 applicant, have done my medicals in Aug 2012, i didnt pay RPRF considering they didnt ask me. In Nov 2012 CHC London sent me email asking to pay RPRF which i paid on Nov 29th 2012.
I have 3 questions,

1- My medical results are OK?
2- Security Checks have been completed?
3- They are ready to send me PPR1 and if not how long it will take?

pls advise.

B. Regards

Hello Friends,
Just wandering , Can I ask VO to expedite my application? I got my 3rd line on ecas on 3rd December. I had to do remedical and my remedical report was received on 26th November. What do you think when I will get my PPR?
Thank you all
Dear
Why did you 'had to go remedical'?

Hi,
Because VO guessed I had tb problem. I had to do CXR and sputum culture . Both test report turned out to be negative. So I should be ok for mr as I got 3rd line in my ecas. Thank you.

Can you see canadian address as well?

Dear
For sputum culture ,how many days DMP kept you engage?
CXR is routine test in Canadian assesment. Was there any suspicion in CXR?Your DMP asked you to do some additional test or it was asked by Canadian medical Officer(London)or by regional office (India)
I am asking because one of our forum member is facing similar situation .Because you have gone through this situation successfully and you should have no hesitation to share experience in the benifits of others.
Thanks in advance

No, Not a problem to share.
Once I sent my medical report at the first time, LVO assessed and they thought I had some kind of tb in my lung (There was one very small spot on my lung site). so they sent me and my DMP a letter to repeat chest xray (VO mentioned a date to do xray) and sputum culture. All requests came from VO but not from DMP. VO advised to culture sputum for 6-8 weeks. My DMP cultured for 7 weeks and produced report as there was no growth. My xray was cleared this time (there was no spot).

8 weeks was the highest time for spuutum culture as vo mentioned in the letter. If there is any bacterial growth, it should start in the first week. So if there is no growth in second or third week, you can assume you dont have bacterial activity in your lung. But DMP or VO advised to keep it 6-8 weeks to make sure that you definitely do not have any sign of bacteria in your lung.

Vo ask for repeat chest xray after certain date so that VO can see the difference in between two xray plate. If there is any bacteria in your lung, you can see more white spot in your lung, it means you have active bacteria in your lung.

Hope it helps.
Cheers Buddy.
