By the Grace of Almighty Allah...

i have received my MR Yesterday

i need advise

my wife is 22 weeks pregnant ...what is the best option for me on her medical

shall i do all the tests as requested on the form and leave the X-rays and get it done after and with the newborn Medical

Dear Passion,

Congrats, for both of these good news.

Consult ur wife's gynecologist and then act accordingly. Yes X-rays can be deferred. You can get New born's medical within 30 days of sending docs& fee for ur baby.

Dear Passion,

I'm pretty much in the same boat, got my MR's for my wife in june (wife was pregant at that time in week 18), now my wife's due date is next month, so i send a letter via my lawyer to VO stating that my wife is pregant and we need extension on the MR date, it was approved by VO after 2 weeks of sending request. now we will wait till my wife gives birth mid of dec, add the new born, wait for his MR's and then undergo medicals all family one shot.

hope that helps,

BR

Hassan is right, u can opt for any of the options.

Either go for ur medicals and defer the X-Rays till the MR of ur New born...... Inform Vo abt ur decision.

Or, plan to do everything in one go upon the MR of ur new born after consulting it with ur Vo.

I would go for the first option though..

Dear

First of all congratulations for both the good news

My suggestion is to undergo your medical with your wife's except her xray. Once you do medical there is a column where your doctor will right that lady is pregnant and expected date is so and so. Cic will automatically put it on hold and wait for your wife's delivery. After delivery try to get new born's passport and everything and send it to cic. They will automatically process your aplocation.
I have a feeling that if you ask them to put my application on hold, then you might need to wait lon and it will be there choice when to reopen the case. Second thing is that after delivery you need to wait for 6-8 weeks, as few women get blood in their urine and then you cant be able to do urine test for your wife. Then again you need to wait

So in summary my advise is to go ahead with your medical that what i did

Hi manchai,

I also got passport request yesterday. I had presentiment that this will happen to us so I submitted by application to the UKBA in person and got back my passports the same day. You can explain the situation to CIC and they will give you extension. At the same time, you can also withdraw your UKBA application and get passport in 28 days. In fact, 3 months is minimum for passport return. It may also take 6 months for UKBA to return your passport.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

I dont want to withdrawn my application with UKBA. I didnt apply in person as 1)couldnt find appointment, 2) I thought it took 2 to 3 months to get PPR Request but in my case it took only 10 days after medical to get ppr request. 3) i dont want to leave gap in uk visa for future ILR Requirement.

I want to go to canada. But at the same time i need some time. At the movement my self and my wife got good job in uk. so i dont want leave that job and go to canada start all over again. But in future yes sure.

as i wasnt sure thats why i choose postal application. i dont want to withdrawn my application with UKBA. how do i come out of this problem now buddy.

let me know

congratulation...

Dear how many days left ur visa for UK? basically most of the people are applying before 20-28 days so if have enough time at least 10 days I think u should withdraw ur application from UKBA bcoz if u submit ur passport to Canada high commission in a person it takes only 1 week after that u can again apply for UK visa.other think may b u have to submit ur passport within 30 days.ukba is taking more than 2/3 months at this moment.best of luck.
