Hi pinkfloyd,


This means that your file is in queue and when it will be opened again (shortly), the visa officer will determine whether he has all evidence to clear your security checks and send your PPR. If some evidence is still pending (external agency has not sent confirmation yet), he will return the file to the queue and open it again later.

Dear Seniors (especially ketevan and RFarooqi),

I need some expert opinion on this. I sent a CSE on the 9th of October and got a reply after 10 days.....reply was

"your file is due to be reviewed by an immigration officer shortly and then we will be in contact with furthar information"

Does that mean that the background checks are over and the file is awaiting final review? or does that mean that the background checks are yet to be started now shortly?

I would be glad if anyone has any idea what the reply means......

I understand gudboy....we're all passing thru this waiting period which is very frustrating.....I guess God has decided the time for each one of us to land and i believe that it will be the right time for us.....and it will be for the best.....
