Hi dears :)

The medical received line has been added in my Ecas as well..

& I reside in KSA (Saudi Arabia)

Yeah.. I really hope we would finally get our PPR & get done with this process. It has taken too long.

& would you please tell me what PPR1, PPR2 & COPR stands for..

Dear basmalah,

1st of all wish you very best of luck for rest of the process and 2ndly PPR1 & PPR2 is only for Pakistani applicants since Pakistani law does not permit the mailing of Pakistani passports from Pakistan to other countries. so they send PPR1 & 2

and its stands for PPR (Pssport Request)
COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence)

hope its clear for you. :)

Ladies and gentlemen,

have you completed medicals in July or August 2012 for London?
Your input will be appreciated.

I did medicals on July 4th, delivered on 9th July.
My ECAS currently shows "medical results have been received".
[/q

Generally it take 45 to 60 days

Note to Ketevan's case: On 30/07/12 passport request was issued by regular mail. On 08/08/12 an e-mail was received advising to ignore this PPR and wait for a new one, because additional background checks are needed that will take AT LEAST 1 month

I knew about the PPR alone. The 1 & 2 were what I didn't get :) But I wonder what they stand for for people from Pakistan as well?

Hi Basmalahh,

PPR-1 - copy of passport to be sent to London. PPR-2 - original passport to be sent to local consulate (cannot be posted to London).
People (citizens) from visa exempt countries send passport copy only

Guys,

LVO has asked me to send the update PCC with RPRF so mu question is shall i just send the original PCC and Original Bank draft along with the copy of their letter, or do I have to fill the fee payment form like we filled at the time of initial application to CIO sydney ?

urgent help is required since i will be sending the docs tomorrow

Dear all,

It would be helpful if you could quote your programme assistants here, if you recently had correspondence with them. I noticed that some of them are vary laconic, while others more talkative while discussing the same thing.
Here is the most recent e-mail I received from them:

"The officer in charge of the application has determined that further background checks will be required which will likely take at least a month to complete.
Please do not submit the passport until you receive further notification from us"

I understood the e-mail much better when I read a quote from another member who is at the same stage in application and received this: "We are awaiting a report from our overseas colleagues".

Your experiences would be much appreciated :)

Yeah, it was a nice gesture that made me smile :). From where do you know Arabic Ketevan?

Though I don't generally prefer writing in non-English in the "main" forum (better as PM) because others wouldn't be able to understand just as I didn't understand the Urdu. But let me see, it has 2 "shukria" in it. That's probably thanks like "shukran" in Arabic & a couple of repeated words which are probably "very very" :). Am I right? :)

If I had a magic wand, I would for sure learn all the languages in the world :)

yes its Shukria the same meaning of "Thanks" and "Shukran" and currently i m resinding in Kuwait and i m familiar of these kinds of words like Shukran, Habibi, Mabrook, hala wala etc.. and let me tel u one thing that Urdu is the Mixture of Arabic and Persian and also write in both scripts.

and i m sure Ket use the Google Translation for you. ;) :)

"the more u know the languages the better you know the world"
