They gave us 30 days.
I know it is a bit too early to ask this question since I haven't had any news from the LVO since my interview, but once they email a positive DM, is there a possibility of one taking the passport and picking it up in person? Would that take a shorter time for the visa to be given? I am just wondering since I don't like the idea of mailing my passport and sitting waiting for God knows how long. I need to travel home first before I go to Canada, so that will jeopardize all my plans. Also I am worried they will hold on to the passport past my UK Visa expiration date, and that could cause me future issues with the UK authorities.

Yes you can personally go drop it off and pick it up. It is faster for sure!
My husband does not live in the UK, he is in the EU so the best option for us was mailing it.

Hi,
We FINALLY have a DECISION MADE on our status! It changed sometime over the weekend :D
I think they have stamped the visa and my husband should be receiving it in the mail soon.
My husband’s home address has also changed to my city, province, and Canada. It does not say my house number and street name though, but I guess that is not an issue?
Total processing time for us was 10 months!
Thank you so much for everyone who helped me through these long 10 months! I really wish everyone waiting hears good news very very soon! :)
