Hi all
I'm new here and just have one question
Tomorrow is going to be 11 months waiting time for me so I'm just wondering what should I do??
We apply to London visa office they recive our application on july 21 and still nothing back from them :(

Nothing .Many of us have been waiting longer. Go to the London Outland thread and have a look under Andrew- Brit and you will find the spreadsheet .

The 11 months have been scraped,so at the moment we have no idea how long things are going to take to process.

ohh no :(
Thank you for your answer!!!!!!

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Have you checked your status (ecas) on line.

I'm checking everyday... still ''Application Received''

When did your application get sent to London?

July 21st they recived in London. I got my meds done in April. And sponsorship approval September 4th.

I'm starting to get really tired of waiting.. probably like everybody else here...
My husband is already there and I'm still waiting with kids for that visa approval :(

Can you confirm your timeline? London office would only get your application once you have sponsor approval. Perhaps you mean Mississauga received your application on July 21st and you received sponsor approval on September 4th?

Sorry not sure.. on my online check shows ''WE received application for permanent residence on July 21, 2014'' and for sponsorship ''We sent you correspondence on September 9''.. so probably is Mississauga as you said. Don't know when was sent to London.

Do you have all the paper work for the kids . If so you can come to Canada and stay with your husband while you wait for visa .Thats if you hold a British passport . Pack up the house and have it shipped over later . You can flagpole which means you change your address to Canada when they sent you the Corp you go to the nearest border crossing and get your papers stamped there. Hand in your B4 form (goods to follow) and have them shipped.

My kids have Canadian passports so that's sorted! We've sent everything over already and I'm flying there in the middle of july! Gonna have to wait there no choice... It's so weird that We have to wait so long and no information from them about waiting time left:( It's up to luck a guess..
Thanks for your reply Taffy! That forum is a brilinant thing! Hope you going to get yours soon I can see that you waiting longer then me now?!?!

Thats a great idea. Now you can get the kids into school in September and learn to adjust to Canadian life before the winter hits. I agree this forum is brilliant. I will say it again, couldn't have got through this processing with out it. :) Good luck.

It's very frustrating. I've been waiting as well for several months. My husband is in London and I'm here waiting. We've been apart most of our first year marriage. It's simply not possible to have him here not working. Not much I can say to help but sometimes it helps to know others are in the same boat and share in your frustration. I can't imagine how much more difficult it is with children. Looks like applications that stayed in Mississauga are being processed in 3-4 months, extremely unfair but nothing we can do :(

Ahh I know it's really hard sometimes.. I move now but no health insurance nothing! Better eat helthy till visa shows up finaly hehe;)
They should do something about it it's not fair to be seperated just because we were born in different countrys!
I will send one of my kids to school this year the onther one is still too young.. she is only 3 so have to find some preschool for her that will keep me busy at least!
Good luck everyone fingers crosed I'm going to check that forum if you got your visas hope not to long now!
