Update: Original Passport Request (OPR) received. I had applied from Netherlands but it was processed in London.

Applied: 29th May
Biometrics: 20th June
BVL: 12th September
Approval and passport request: 12th September

I need to present a paper at a conference in October. So this came on time.

3 days. I submitted my passport on Friday. It got processed by the embassy on Monday and sent back to VFS the same day. I collected the passport on Wednesday.
