Hi Friends,

Received Passports with shining Maple Leaf!!!! Visa was issued dated 03.02.2011.

For me it took exactly 13 months after sending full docs to London. ( as per London avg time line)

Thanks to this wonderful Forum and each and every member who helped me and my family in this wonderful journey.

Is it true that CHC holding Pakistani nationals PPR more than people with other nationalities.i mean taking more time for pakistanis?????????????? is there any Pak national in uk, who got PPR in last 3-4 months?????????

I am the one of the lucky one. Got Sec Clearance in less than a month but PPR was put on hold due to any reason (may be bcoz of no more quota of 2010, wait of Dec/Jan 2011)

How did you come to know that you got BG clearance within a month ,did London inform you about it.
I am asking as I am in a fix whether my BG checks have been finished or not as I receive two email replies (in jan & Feb.)from London mentioning the same thing"your docs are awaiting a review by an IO"(No mentioning of BG checks in both of them)
I am confused whether my BG checks are finished or not.I did my medicals on 9th Oct. 2010.
Your input will be highly appreciated.

From the CAIPS notes.
I applied for CAIPS while waiting for PPR but it took around 1.5 months and my CAIPS were printed after receiving my PPR.

I do not know about the other responses from CIC but "We do not anticipate to ask for your passport before any date........" means the case has been approved and ready for PPR but they can not issue the PPR due to any time bounded quota or something else.

Back in December, I received this response from CHC in London "Your file is now awaiting review by an Immigration Officer."

On February 10th, I received the following response.

"This is to advise that your file is currently being reviewed."

I did my medicals around end of Sep, 2010.

Anyone might know how far I am from receiving a RPP?

hello caesar, you may receive ppr very soon, they are currently doing sep/oct medical cases. but a few people are having to wait longer, for God knows what reasons. Keep praying.

Hi FFFF, no need to PANIC man, CHC London have started this new TECHNIQUE for delaying the cases.
Many members have received the same request. Submit it at the earliest. Hopefully in coming two months time, you should receive PPR.
