Congratulation to all of you who recieved PPR or visas. Anwar hope u dont forget us once u r in Canada. Plz keep this thread going atleast until the list is complete. There are a few of us still hanging on and i wish luck to all of you. Hopefully we will complete the list soon.

BTW I had requested my CAIPS notes recently and checked everything seemed to be in order. There is one last note in my caips file by an officer which says " FILE APPEARS RFV ". This entry was made in Jan 2011. After that nothing. Does anybody know what RFV stands for?

I think you can start partying soon. Some where in this forum itself i have seen somebody had the same query and it was Ready For Visa.
so chill. You will get the PPR soon.

Thx for the wishes..Probably u must have read one of my earlier posts only where i asked about RFV. Actually i had even asked qorax about it but unfortunately even he had never heard of "RFV" before. I hope it stands for Ready for visa and probably my file is just waiting for its turn to be processed further. Looking at anwar's list the top order is almost complete and others are randomly recieving PPR's. I got a bit worried after seeing Ali Haider's situation. After such long wait from medicals done why is he requested for the updated documents again? They should already have that information. And there were some harsh words used in the letter "if they don't recieve the documents in 15 days they will refuse the application on the basis of information they have". All this time i thought once u get medicals ur application is approved unless u have problems in Medicals or Security Checks. So its left me confused about how things work in CIC.

But i decide to stay optimistic and rest leave it on almighty god.

My caips showed "File appears ready for PHEP" as the last comment. Then I got the PPR. I am with the notion that RFV is 'Ready For Visa'.

Oh thx muslim thats a relief. Can u please tell me how long it took from the date the note was entered on your CAIPS notes and you receiving PPR?

In my view your case sounds all clear.I hope you will receive your visa soon.

Regarding Ali Haider ,is an exceptional case.Most of the applicants of fast track system get visa very quickly but one applicant,Sultan Ali, got his visa only on 25th May whereas his med expiry date is 1st July.So every case is different so processed with different timelines.

Just stay positive and you will be done.
