Hi there, thanks!!!
No they have not asked me for any additional docs. My agent, a management consultancy in Bur Dubai has done my paper work. Applied in Sept 2007 and received file number end of Sept 2007. Then in June 2010 i was notified about submitting my docs. I have submitted my bank docs, educational etc etc with the IELTS. November 2010 i was asked to go for my medicals. My husband, daughter and myself did the same here in Dubai and I was told by the courier that the result was delivered to them on the 30th of November, 2010. I was expecting my visa call in March. Since i dint receive anything, thought of following up directly and send them a mail in July and the result was a email reply stating that I have been scheduled for a quality assurance review at AUH in October, 2011. They sent me the docs but my agent never received the same, so they have communicated with the London office and the agent received an official email stating my time and date with the docs required for the interview. Now that i have given authority to release information am still waiting to get a feedback if there is anything specific that they have mentioned in my case file. I may or may not get this before the interview. But wats going on....... agent says its just that they are buying time because of the backlog and interview is just an excuse. almost 30 of their clients have been scheduled for an interview and most of them are after medicals. But my case moved fast after submitting the docs to the medical stage... and there there has been a long 1 year delay...now its come to a point where my medicals are expiring next month!!!!! bad luck!!!but based on medicals will they ever call for an interview???? they have clearly stated........... "As stated by our Ottawa Office, your application has been selected for a quality assurance review to verify the reliability of all information and documents submitted.
This interview is required as part of the application process, and we will not be able to proceed to the visa issuance stage until this interview has been completed. Should no issues be identified as a result of this quality assurance exercise we will endeavour to issue your visas as soon as possible following the interview."
