There are many ways, for example someone calls the police. And it is not that rare, for example once the gf of the owner of a construction caught the guy cheating on her. She knew he was employing illegal immigrants, so she called immigration to screw the guy and his company. And so on...jddalove said:hi,I have a question,
I have friends who go to canada for a visit of 5 months and they work there(ilegally of course) under the table...
my quesiton is,how do cic can find out if you worked while visiting? i mena if you dont have your social number there ,how can they know?
i guess if you get paid with ''cash'' they cant find out,,but if you get paid with checks they will?
thanks
It is not THAT hard. There are many programs for eventual foreign workers or to come on projects. In my experience I have seen that illegals haven't tried enough (if at all) to get proper documents, they just assume they will be denied or they haven't done enough research to get their papers in order.jddalove said:hi,thank u for the replies,,
NO,,I'm not planning on doing it,,I'm marrying a canadian citizen so I will be able to work legally eventually since I will become a canadian resident..I was just wondering how my friends pull it off...
but for the user who said ''why not get a work permit''?
DO you realize how hard that is????
I am from Mexico and know plenty of Cubans, Bolivians, Peruvians, Colombians, Central Americans, etc. that have gotten work permits in serving, doing low skilled jobs, cleaning houses, etc.jddalove said:Dude I come from Cuba,,and I tried 12 times for work permits,,,maybe citizens ''from other countries'' have better chances,,but I'd love to see someone from Cuba or ''bolivia'' or Haiti getting a canadian work permit,,,it just doesnt happen,,
thats why you get the ''fake marriages'' canada doesnt wanna find a better way to provide visit visas,,they get more money in marriage applications..
