Loan closing before landing to canada

Hello,

We have home loan . Submitted all the documents for the PR process . waiting for the golden mail.
Aor Feb 4. Is it mandatory to close home loan before landing to canada.

I'm not an adviser but I can't see how it could be?

I'm planning on keeping my property as an investment when I leave and it will still have an existing loan on it. Rental and other income will cover it from this side.

even same for me paying an emi is not a problem . but if we have home loan will it be a problem for landing .

You dont have to close your loans, since emi's are paid through future income, moreover home loan is a secured loan. Nothing to worry

IRCC don't care about you home loan or investments you have. All the want to know is whether or not you have the minimum required funds to bring to Canada. So if you can show you have these funds when you land, you are good to go.

You dont have to close your loans, since emi's are paid through future income, moreover home loan is a secured loan. Nothing to worry
