LMO processing times as of June 2013

Hi @ stopda.. goodnews my lmo came already.. now im just waiting for the agency to inform me to send all the docs. back to me, then will proceeds to visa application. hope will not have a problem Good luck to all of us.. just pray and pray

@element1234, I am so happy for you. 7 weeks isn't too bad. It's certainly better than the 14-16 weeks that my employer is quoting me. Well, my employer applied for LMOs about 3 weeks ago. If this trend continues, then I should have it soon. I appreciate your update.

@element1234, Also, what province is your LMO for? Different provinces take different times, so I may not be as lucky. I know that Alberta has the most efficient processing system. Is that the one?

My friend applied for LMO on June 3rd as a Food Service Supervisor under new employer. He was a Food Counter Attendant before. Still no news yet.

we get LMO and SIN card 2 weeks later. but my question is possible to get visa this documents? or require more documents.
we are BANGLADESHI people. please confirm me we get work visa because Canadian High commotion close there visa service in Bangladesh. now Bangladeshi people get visa in Singapore that we submit all documents via VFS. any one confirm me VFS has been make any problem. if they have problem then we go Singapore directly and submit Canadian Embassy in Singapore. please advice me urgently.

My NOC code is 1241 = IT Secretary

Just like to share good news. My LMO got approved on 22nd July 2013. Below is my timeline:

Applied on: 26th March 2013
Got query: 1st July 2013
Replied Query: 3rd July 2013
Got Positive LMO: 22nd July 2013
NOC Code: 2074 Software Developer
Province applied: Ontario

Once again thanks to this group for providing updates and All the Best to all guys who are waiting for results. I will start following the Work Permit thread now .

I also got mine on July 12th. Applied on March 28th. IT job in BC
there was a problem around 3 months after we applied (they couldn't reach the company), so that increased the wait.
