Hi,

Sorry, no idea. My employer didnt disclose this. I think it was more of a company specific thing than a employee document.

Thanks

Hi,

Mine is still waiting. A-LMO applied on April 2, 2013 and still waiting. HRSDC responded twice so far asking for more documentation both times. HRSDC said they are doing some compliance review with my employer after the recent changes being made to LMO processing. I think due to this its talking this long.

Please keep sharing your timelines and any kind of update you receive

Thank you,
Kiran

Hi Kiran,

What recent changes are being made or were implemented in the processing of LMO? Is there a link about this? Please share.

Thanks,

But em more confused, did you apply for LMO at your own? Isnt it employer responsibility?

I just talk with service Canada they tell me for Lmo time line is 7 working weeks

My employer applied the A-LMO for me.

These were the changes made recently:

Earlier to this, more changes were made:

A-LMO doesn't exist anymore, it's been suspended at the end of April. So everyone who applied for it will go through a normal LMO processing route.

Here you can see what documents HRSDC can ask your employer to provide in order to show that they are compliant:
http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/jobs/foreign_workers/employer_compliance.shtml

What confuses me, is that I've been waiting for 6 weeks already to put my information on an Open LMO. In other words, a positive Open LMO has already been issued to the employer (they don't have to make any assessments anymore) and only what they have to do is to put my name, date of birth and my address on it and reissue it to the employer. Just after that I can get a work permit. Any ideas or help?

Anybody have any idea on below.

Can we apply WP extension even LMO is not approved yet?

If both LMO and WP are in process can CIS wait on WP unitl LMO decession Arrives?

Please confirm the above ASAP.

Hi, I just want to ask if it is true. I heard that if you are holding a skilled noc code lmo it would be given priority in the normal processing time of work permits outside CanAda?

Thanks

Dear All

My Employer had filed for my LMO on Jan-03-2013. Though not sure in which Province he had filed. My empoloyer in based out of Ontario and i will be working in Toronto. This leaves me with few questions, and would really be grateful if some one can answer.

1. Can the LMO be filed at any province, or only in the province where the empolyer is registered or located?
2. Any idea on the current processing times.?

I Dont Think Its a Problem .Because You Can apply Online From Any Provience In Canada. In the Country Of Ur Origin.

You can apply wp when your Lmo in process you can make explanation letter like your employer apply Lmo and you waiting for that and your current wp going to expire so apply with this letter.

According to me ,The LMO Has To Be filed In the Provience You Gone Work From The Employee. The Application Doesent matter.
Current Process Timing Can Not Be Defined Cus Of The Strike By PAFSO.
I Have applied IN March 2013 Till No Answer.
we Need To Calm A Bit Cus Nither Of Us Can Do Any Thing About Our Process,Cus Its In the Hand Of CIC & PAFSO.
