Could you tell me your noc code?

Hi Lucas,

Is the processing time of the LMO depended on your NOC? Thanks!

Hi

My Employer applied for LMO in Kitchener(Ontario) on 27 May and he sent it by fax. I asked him to confirm if the file has been received after one week but still we did not hear anything from them and My employer is telling that they will not even confirm if the file was received until and unless they have it in processing. Is it true ??

Thanks

27 May???? It was faxed so it should have been received. The employer can call and ask again.

Hi Jass,

I want to clarify your statement. Your employer sent the LMO via fax to HRSDC last 27 March. Based from from the previous posts some people received 1 week after submission while others after month. It's quite a big range.

I think, HRSDC will give you the file number once they start processing the application. What I'm not sure of if they will give an acknowledgement receipt for the application.

Hi Cabalen

Yes you are right. My employer sent it on 27th March,2012 but havnt received any file number or anything . I am little worried because my work permit s gonna expire in July and I dont want to lose my job because of Work permit.

What you think will i be able to get LMO by then ?

Thanks
