You can go through with this thread from the start to check the actual timelines of approval. It seems it depends upon the province it was filed and the NOC number.

Based from what I read so far, it general, it ranges from 2 - 5 months.

You will be required to complete an Application for a Labour Market Opinion and submit it to the appropriate Service Canada Centre serving your region.

Service Canada considers the following factors in an LMO application:

The occupation in which the foreign worker will be employed
The wages and working conditions offered to the foreign worker - The offered wages should be consistent to what is being paid to canadian citizens and permanent residents already working in same field.
The employer’s advertisement and recruitment efforts to hire Canadians/permanent residents
The associated labour market benefits that may occur from hiring the foreign worker (e.g., transfer of new skills/knowledge, creation/retention of jobs, etc.)
Consultations with organized labour if the position the foreign worker will fill is part of a bargaining unit
Determination if the entry of the foreign worker is likely to affect the settlement of an ongoing labour dispute

My time line thus far.

End of Feb: LMO Application sent
Before 8th May: File # received
19th June: SC spoke to my employer, they said expect result 'soon'...
27th June: Positive reply on LMO

Flights booked
Shipping company booked
Cats booked hehe
I land in Canada end of August
WP application, picking up at CBSA

Good luck to those still waiting.
