My timeline:

Feb. 28th received file # from HRSDC.
Match 12th file WP to CIC
April 18th WP expired
May 11th my LMO file assigned to a decision making officer.
May 12th CIC won't hold my application anymore.

May 28th still waiting for the decision from HRSDC.
They should get back to me within this week.

Restore my status after i get the positive LMO from HRSDC

bad news for me
HRSDC rejected my LMO because my salary isn't high enough.
I am just wondering if I was holding a PGWP, do i still have to follow the restriction about the salary.

The officer told my agent, my salary has to reach 70k a year in order to get a positive LMO.

I am making $20.75 an hour.

Hi everyone!
I've been quietly looking at this forum for the past few months, but now that I just got my LMO ( ! ) I thought I'd share my timeline!
I don't have all the dates since the company lawyer took care of most of the paperwork and was always very reticent about the whole process, but this is what I pieced together:

NOC 2174
February 1st - Applied for LMO
March 7th file WP to CIC
March 10th WP expired
May 30th LMO approved

I'll be border hopping this weekend to activate my WP!
Best of luck to all of you, I know it's a stressful time!

Hey all, here's my status:

NOC 5226
Faxed LMO: 5.8.2012
Service Canada rep called to ask for more information: 6.5.2012

The SC guy had an issue with my salary being too low, my boss is trying to explain to him that it's actually the average and their figures are wrong.

We shall see...

Did CIC held your application after 60 days? you were working even after the 60 days grace period as I can see your LMO got approved after 2 and half months of your WP expiration!

Hell of a story: no they didn't. Even though my lawyer never told me about it (hid it from me), they denied my work permit exactly 60 days after we applied, after which I unknowingly worked illegally for almost a month. They interviewed me for over two hours at the border, where I could prove, that I in fact never got this information even though I tried to inquire about my status several times. In the end, because they were satisfied with the proof, they gave me a one year visa (even though my LMO was valid for two) as a compromise.

My time lines.

- 26th of January - LMO Application send in (NOC 0111)
- 10th of Februari - file number or something assigned
- 8th of June - Employer called that Positive LMO was granted

So 4.5 months processing time.
