Thanks Tennis.Hope4MapleLeaf said:Congrats shivpalsidhu ...how many weeks in total did you wait for this?
My application was sent on 8th November, but no idea when was it received. My employer did not update me about the file number being received from SC. I am hoping that I get to hear something this week. This is more than 12 weeks that we sent the application and more time from SC will create a big problem for me since my company will try to put me on a different project. Its been almost 4 months that I am not on project (for the sake of my Visa application). I think SC should understand this issue. They have been really ruthless in understanding the issues of applicants.Tennis said:Friday 3 february SC told my employer that they are finalizing the applications received from Oct 27th to Nov 2nd.
Yes you can apply for a new work permit 2 weeks before your current permit expires. This will give you "implied status" which means you can continue working.artemka said:Just reading it now and going banazz.
My NOC is 0711.
Currently working on my postgraduate TWP for about a year and a half.
Employer will send LMO application this week.
My postgraduate TWP expires 4th of april of this year.
If I understand correctly I would need to get my new WORK PERMIT in order to keep working after my temporary visa expiration date, not just apply for one.
So can I still apply for my new work permit 2 weeks before my current one expires? Is there any chance of getting it without getting LMO approved?
Can I apply for temporary resident visa andnot workwork for free before my new TWP gets issued?
Any other suggestions? Thanks. Really frustrated now
